You may take high-quality supplements and drink plenty of water, but if your digestive system is not functioning optimally and your body is unable to absorb and utilise those nutrients effectively, their potential benefit may be limited.
The same principle can be explored on a subtler level through prana the vital energy we receive from our connection with nature: water, rivers, sunlight, trees, soil, and the environment around us.
When we become more receptive to the information within and around us, we can begin to recognise the subtle relationship between our thoughts, emotions, sensations, and the energy they carry. From this awareness, a deeper story begins to unfold.
So, how do we cultivate this capacity for receptivity?
Through yoga. Yoga is not simply stretching. Through conscious breathing, forward folds, backbends, twists, and mindful movement, we create greater awareness within the body and cultivate our ability to receive, process, and integrate on physical, emotional, and energetic levels.
