"Ο ΚΕΡΑΥΝΟΣ" Keravnos Athletic Club is one of the most famous and historical clubs in Cyprus sports history.

Keravnos Strovolou (Greek: Γυμναστικός Σύλλογος Στροβόλου «Ο Κεραυνός») is one of the oldest Athletic Clubs on the Island and was established in 1926. The club is based in Strovolos the largest Nicosia suburb and their home court is the Costas Papaellinas Indoor Arena with a capacity of 2,000 spectators. «The Keravnos name (in Greek =THUNDER) is associated with the football player Savvas Panayides

Ο ΚΕΡΑΥΝΟΣ ΑΠΟΧΑΙΡΕΤΑ ΤΟΝ ΚΑΘΗΓΗΤΗ ΠΑΝΟ ΡΑΖΗ

Ο Κεραυνός Στροβόλου εκφράζει τη βαθιά του θλίψη για τον θάνατο του Καθηγητή Πάνου Ραζή, πατέρα του παλαίμαχου καλαθοσφαιριστή μας, Χριστόφορου Ραζή.

Ο εκλιπών υπήρξε διακεκριμένος επιστήμονας και ακαδημαϊκός, με σημαντική προσφορά στην παιδεία, τον πολιτισμό και τον αθλητισμό της Κύπρου, ενώ διετέλεσε Πρόεδρος της Κυπριακής Ομοσπονδίας Πανεπιστημιακού Αθλητισμού.

Το Διοικητικό Συμβούλιο και ολόκληρη η οικογένεια του Κεραυνού εκφράζουν τα ειλικρινή και θερμά τους συλλυπητήρια στον Χριστόφορο και σε ολόκληρη την οικογένεια Ραζή.

Η κηδεία θα τελεστεί την Παρασκευή, 4 Σεπτεμβρίου 2026, στις 12:30 μ.μ., από τον Ιερό Ναό Αγίου Κοσμά του Αιτωλού στη Λεμεσό.

Αντί στεφάνων, θα γίνονται εισφορές για το Σωματείο Ευημερίας Φοιτητών του Πανεπιστημίου Κύπρου.

Αιωνία του η μνήμη.

A special night, a huge success, and scenes that speak for themselves! 🏀🔥

As part of Keravnos’ 100th Anniversary celebrations, our outdoor courts were packed for the MK 1v1 Main Event.

For the first time ever, MK came to Cyprus, kicking off his short tour of the island right here at Keravnos and our home courts.

The response was incredible. Hundreds of basketball fans, young and old, packed the courts and created an amazing atmosphere, with the action and energy going strong until the very end. 👑🏀

Another memorable moment in our Centenary year — and there is much more to come... 💯
