AcademyCyprus is the biggest active team based in Northern Cyprus. Regular children / adult group classes in all 4 major cities Famagusta (Magusa), Nicosia (Lefkosa), Kyrenia (Girne) and Trikomo (İskele) since 2010 makes AcademyCyprus the pioneer of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu in the country with the support of AFIK GROUP Construction.
We practice mainly Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (aka. BJJ, Gracie Jiu-Jitsu or GJJ) We are not affiliated with any other team and/or organization and seek knowledge from every possible source.
Actively competing in International Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Federation (IBJJF), Ju Jitsu International Federation (JJIF) and United World Wrestling Grappling (previously known as FILA) events and championships.
