Our Cyprus National Dragon Boat Team leaves the European Nations Championship proud of what we achieved. Competing with one of the smallest teams at the event and racing in only two categories, our athletes improved their times in every race, showing determination, resilience, and the rewards of hard work.

Every paddle stroke reflected the commitment of our paddlers, the guidance of our coach, Simo Hill, and the teamwork that defines this squad. We are bringing home valuable experience, stronger performances, and the confidence that we are moving in the right direction.

A heartfelt thank you to every athlete, volunteer, and supporter who stood behind Team Cyprus throughout this journey. This is another step forward, and we are already looking ahead to the next challenge.

🇨🇾 Congratulations to our Mixed and Women's Crews!

Huge congratulations to our Senior B Mixed and Women's crews for their determination, teamwork and fighting spirit during today's 200m races at the European Nations Championship.

We are incredibly proud of both crews for their outstanding performances and the passion they showed in representing Cyprus on the international stage.

Special congratulations to our Coach and Helm, Simo Hill, for his leadership and commitment and to our women's crew Helm Eleni Rousounidou.

Now we focus on tomorrow's 500m races. We
can't wait to see our athletes back on the water, giving it everything they've got once again.

Congratulations to all the crews from all around Europe for their outstanding performances and sportmanship on and off the water.

Opening Ceremony 16th EDBF European Nations Championship - Munich 2026🇨🇾🇨🇾🐉

This evening, Team Cyprus proudly took part in the Opening Ceremony of the 16th European Nations Dragon Boat Championships at the Olympic Regatta Course in Munich.

Surrounded by the best dragon boat nations in Europe, our athletes marched with pride, ready to represent Cyprus on the international stage.

We would like to wish all 21 participating nations the very best throughout the championships. May the races be fast, fair and memorable.

🇨🇾 Introducing the crew that will represent Cyprus at the European Nations Dragon Boat Championships in Munich.

With the championship just around the corner, we are proud to present the Cyprus Dragon Boat National Team – Senior B crew, who will travel to Munich to compete against the best crews in Europe.

Photos from the latest weekend training as the team completed another important step in its final preparations. Months of dedication, teamwork, and commitment have brought this crew to the starting line, and they are ready to proudly wear the Cyprus colours on the international stage.

Leading the team is Coach Simeon Hill, whose guidance and passion have been instrumental throughout the preparation for this championship.

Women's Crew Captain - Eleanor Fryett

Special acknowledgement to Team Manager Francesca Adami for her dedication and work behind the scenes in organising and ensuring everything is in place for the Team's participation in the Championship.
