I’m sitting here with a cup of tea, reliving our adventures from last weekend… and wow.
Mother Nature truly showed up in all her forms. We experienced every element - water, fire, air, earth, and glorious bright sunshine. Grass so green it GLOWED. Four-leafed clovers underfoot. Endless helpings of delicious wholesome food (followed by a nap to digest it all). Practicing yoga to the sounds of birdsong, or the crackling fire.
It felt like a feast for the senses (and also for the stomach… those cookies 😆)
One of my favourite parts of every retreat is hearing what people are taking home with them - the little nuggets, insights, and feelings they want to carry into the week ahead.
This time, the answers included:
✨ inner strength
✨ calm
✨ cheese 😆
✨ a new-found appreciation for my feet
✨ the reminder that everyone can - and should! - dance
alongside beautiful intentions to slow down, soften, and care for ourselves more deeply.

Fireside chats, hearty bowls of steaming goodness, warm connections with new and old friends...and maybe a Eurovision party in the middle of it 🕺 sound like the perfect weekend? 💕

You love yoga (but not the feeling that everyone else somehow knows what they’re doing except you).
You love stretching (but not being pushed too far, too fast, or into shapes your body doesn’t want today).
You love the idea of moving your body (but not the pressure to look a certain way while doing it).
Things hurt or ache (what's up with that?) and you're sure there must be a kind gentle way to feel better.
You want to feel stronger and calmer (without needing fancy leggings, expensive equipment, or a “perfect” yoga body).
You want a class where injuries, stiffness, tiredness, anxiety, pregnancy, ageing, beginners’ nerves, and real life are all welcome.
A place where you can move at your own pace, rest whenever you need to, breathe a little more deeply, and maybe even laugh a bit too. A place where you don’t have to prove anything or keep up with anyone, and where you can arrive exactly as you are that day - stiff, tired, anxious, inexperienced, overwhelmed, recovering, distracted, emotional… all of it is welcome.
I know so many people avoid yoga because they think they’re not flexible enough, not fit enough, not skinny enough, too injured, too old, or too anxious. But the truth is, I love every part of you and everything you bring to class. I love it when you show up in pyjama bottoms or old holey tracksuit trousers. When you come in, flop onto the floor, and barely move for the whole class because it took all you had just to get there that day. I love the real, messy you, who arrives carrying a black cloud and leaves feeling a little lighter.
Most of all, I want YOU to love YOU just as much as I do 💕
