🎱 THE 34TH WEDNESDAY 9-BALL TOURNAMENT AT BALABUŠKA 💛🖤💛🖤

The 34TH WEDNESDAY 9-BALL TOURNAMENT AT BALABUŠKA once again brought together players who live by our favourite motto: “Wednesdays are made for pool!” And above all, players who simply love a great game! 🎱😉

The well-attended tournament was played in a fantastic and friendly atmosphere throughout the evening. Our friend Adam Kosmák also returned to the field after quite a long absence. His performances kept improving throughout the tournament and took him all the way to the semi-finals, making him perhaps the biggest surprise of Wednesday night! 🏆🎱💛🖤🏆

The only woman in the field, Petra Krulichová from the home club BALABUŠKA, fought like a lioness against the boys and missed out on a place in the quarter-finals by only the smallest stroke of luck. 💛🖤💛🎱

The good mood stayed with all the players from the first match to the very last, and there was certainly no shortage of exciting and entertaining battles. 💛🖤

🔥 SEMI-FINALS 🔥

The first semi-final brought together two excellent players – one of the biggest favourites to win the tournament, Damjan Markovič, and the consistently impressive Jaromír Linha.

Jaromír had played brilliantly throughout the evening, but this time he was unable to match Damjan’s excellent performance. After losing the semi-final, he finished in a well-deserved 3RD PLACE! 🏆🥉🎱💛🖤🥳

The second semi-final featured another two outstanding players from Wednesday’s tournament – Adam Kosmák and Kevin Čižmarovič.

Adam did not get off to the best start, but fought his way back in the second half of the match and levelled the score at 4–4. In the deciding ninth rack, he had a place in the final within his grasp, but a little nervousness at the very end ultimately cost him the victory. Adam therefore finishes in a fantastic 3RD PLACE! 🏆🥉🎱💪💛🖤💛🎱

The final delivered exactly what everyone had hoped for from a clash between the two best-performing players of the tournament – brilliant and exciting pool right until the very end! 🔥🎱

Both players produced an excellent performance, and for a long time it was impossible to predict who would eventually claim the victory. In the decisive moments, however, Damjan Markovič showed just a little more skill and held his nerve better. Thanks to his precise play, he brought the match to a winning conclusion and deservedly claimed victory in the 34TH WEDNESDAY 9-BALL TOURNAMENT AT BALABUŠKA! 🏆🥇🥳💛🖤💛🎱

🏆 ON SUNDAY, 6 SEPTEMBER 2026, FROM 11:00 AM, we will host the seventh and final tournament of the 23RD BALABUŠKA SUMMER EUROLEAGUE 2026!

Once again, the tournament will be played in the popular 9-BALL discipline, and you can also use it as excellent preparation for the Czech National Championship! 😉💛🖤🏆

So everyone who wants to play, have fun and enjoy a relaxed Wednesday and Sunday full of pool is welcome at Balabuška! 💛🖤
