Sample match sheet for matches in the 2026 European Indoor Championships. 🤔📝✅

(The system is identical to that used at the previous European Indoor Championships in 2025). 😃👍🆗

🤓☝️ Due to the high number of participating teams, we had to change the rules in order to keep our schedules tight and stable. In the main event and warm-up tournament, the number of throws will be limited to a maximum of 12 throws per team (=12 "rounds"). If no team has reached 50 points after 12 rounds, the team with more points wins the set.

e.g.

Team 1:44 points

Team 2: 38 points

Team 1 wins the set 44:38

If there is a draw after 12 rounds, the set will be extended by one round. The team with more points after this very round wins the set, reaching 50 points or 3 misses in a row will end the set immediately without ending the round.

e.g.

After 12 rounds:

Team 1: 42 points

Team 2: 42 points

After round 13:

Team 1: 45 points

Team 2: 47 points

Team 2 wins the set 47:45

BUT

Team 1 - throw 13: 8 points=50 points

Team one wins the set 50:42 straight away, team 2 is not allowed to do their throw 13 anymore.

If it is still a draw after ending 15 rounds, the team which was NOT beginning the set will win.

🇪🇺 XI. European Mölkky Indoor Championship 2026 – Draw 🇨🇿

The official draw of the Main Event of the XI. European Mölkky Indoor Championship 2026 will take place on 10 February 2026 at 18:00 (CET) and will be streamed live on YouTube.

🎯 Draw procedure

The draw will be carried out in two steps:

1️⃣ Drawing the order of the country pots
First, the order of the country pots will be drawn.

2️⃣ Allocation of the pots to the groups
The pots will then be allocated to the groups in the drawn order.
The groups will be built live in parallel in Tournify.
