For a long time, many of you have known me through yoga. And while yoga continues to be one of the languages I speak, it has never been the whole story.
Over the years, my work has expanded through voice, performance, ritual, community practice, and facilitating spaces that invite us to question inherited systems, reconnect with our bodies, and imagine more liberatory ways of being together.
This isn’t a departure from my work—it’s a fuller expression of it.
I’m interested in what becomes possible when art, embodiment, and collective practice meet. When we gather not simply to heal as individuals, but to remember that our liberation is deeply interconnected.
If you’ve been here for years, thank you for growing alongside me. And if you’re just arriving, welcome.
I’m excited to share more performances, creative process, reflections, rituals, collaborations, and invitations into practices of belonging.
I’d love to know: What part of this journey resonates most with you?

If you’re new here—or if you’ve been here for years—I thought it was time to reintroduce myself.
I’m Sangeeta.
For many people, I’ve been known as a yoga teacher.
And while yoga continues to nourish my life and my work, it has never been the whole story.
At the heart of everything I create is a simple question:
How do we remember how to belong?
To ourselves.
To one another.
To the earth.
To our ancestors.
To futures we are still learning to imagine.
I am a multidisciplinary artist, performer and facilitator.
I work with voice, breath, movement, ritual, performance and collective practice.
Sometimes that looks like a choir.
Sometimes a performance.
Sometimes a circle for grief.
Sometimes a workshop exploring colonial conditioning and white supremacy culture through the body.
Sometimes it is rest.
Sometimes it is song.
Sometimes it is yoga.
The form changes.
The intention remains the same.

Our different points of privilege and oppression affect how we move through the world, hold space for ourselves and others.
Most people often think Berlin has a lot of support and we all have access to systems the same way. Even though we all know we live in toxic culture and systems are racist. If you follow me and/ or have worked with me you know how much I value community. And today I am reaching out to you to show up for me. Asking for support is never easy. But I have also learned asking for support from the systems is like banging out head against a wall. So I am offering ways in which you can help. I thank you for listening and witnessing. With love and gratitude, sangeeta
