On Saterday we have 3 groups (20 teams) in open division and 2 groups (14 teams) in womens division.
Sunday:
Open division
Top poule: numbers 1 and 2 (total of 6 teams)
Sub Top poule: numbers 3 and 4. And the best number 5
Base poule: rest of the teams
Womens division:
Top poule: numbers 1 and 2. And best number 3
Sub top poule: rest of the teams.
Best number 3 (open) and best number 5 (womens) will be ranked according to these rules:
Most number of wins
Least number of losses.
Most goals scored.
Least number of goals allowed.
Coin toss
Extra info for finals day:
After the round robin the 1st and 2nd ranked teams in Top Poule will play finals. 15 min game one way. No break. When there is a draw after 15min. The game will continue with 4 players, no subs and golden goal.
Underwater hockey tournament rules
Play according to CMAS rules version 11 with the following exceptions:
• Playing time 15 min (one way, no break)
• No time stop in last 3 minutes.
In case of delay, play time can be shortened to catch up with schedule.
• No time outs
• Penalty shots awarded will be changed to penalty goals in all games.
• End side subbing, jumping/diving allowed when players and refs are 3m away.
