(EN) Yesterday, I shared that this poem begins with a furious declaration that shouts: we know the truth. The title, “WE HAVE THE TALLY SHEETS,” refers to a phrase María Corina Machado must have said a thousand times, to tell the world that we had the proof in our hands. The poem uses the formal language found in the tally sheets that clashes with the feelings and thoughts running through our minds at the time. I wrote it to let out the frustration and sadness inside me. But also to remember that what happened mattered, that it was another step forward, that it did make a difference, even if it wasn’t the result we were counting on.

It took 28 years to tear down the Berlin Wall. Chavismo turned 26 this year. May their walls soon crumble.

💛💙❤️‍🔥

Let’s make Migration Zines together! ✨

DE

If you are in a love-hate relationship with Berlin, and can’t decide if you want to rekindle the flame or get a divorce... I made this one for you.

Come to play with creative exercises with a small group of Berlin lovers—and occasional haters. We’ll do different writing prompts, discussions, and a walking tour around the area to spend time with the city.

You’ll explore:
🌿 The current status: how do you really feel?
🌿 Should you stay or should you leave? And where to?
🌿 How to make peace with the situation
🌿 How to move on

This is for you if you are:
+ forgetting what you love about Berlin
+ feeling frustrated by what’s bothering you in the city
+ wondering if you should leave (and where to!?)
+ looking for strategies to feel better where you live

Because you deserve to live in a place that sparks joy—even in winter.

Tickets are now up for grabs for the next date (Sunday 23, election day), so find yours if you want to join us and see you there 💛

First thing we learn in design school? Look at the work of others for inspiration. We were sometimes even encouraged to copy, and THEN add our unique touch. That’s how everyone starts.

People unfamiliar with this process think creatives are doing witchcraft to get an unlimited flow of ideas all the time. But we are simply experts in collecting ideas, mixing them, and presenting them again with a twist.

The quality of your ideas is the direct result of what you consume. And the most interesting ones come from a variety of ingredients: diverse formats, people, media, techniques, styles, and so on.

This was the idea that led me to start ‘ways to remember’: bringing a diverse group of people together who wanted to work on their memoir, podcast, or stand-up comedy show. In every class, we focused on a different format, experimented with creative prompts, and exchanged individual feedback. The results? Everyone got new sources of inspiration and left with new pieces for their projects.

And the best part: we are doing it again in Berlin AND online.

Curious? Find the link in bio and see you at a better side 💛

P.S. If you can’t join us now, you can also join the waiting list to receive an email when the next dates are available.

What I’m not mentioning here are all the times I thought about closing .better.side this year, and every year since I started.

I sometimes fantasize about quitting and getting a job at a café or working at Deutsche Post delivering letters—my solid plan B. And then something happens that brings me back:

A coaching client comes to our session excited to show me what they have been working on since we last talked.

A new dream client arrives, happy to pay for my facilitation services.

A random person saying my work inspired them to start writing, book that trip, launch that side business, or believe they are enough as they are.

And then I convinced myself to keep going, for another day, week, month, semester, or year. And here we are.

In 2025 a better side will turn 5, which seems like pandemic-math witchcraft because I still feel like “I just started”.

As a multi-passionate creative the idea of doing something long-term sounds terrifying. What if I get bored!?

Today I realized the motto that helped me start this business is the same for everything else: you don’t have to do ALL THE THINGS at once. You just have to take the first tiny, baby step. Do the next second, minute, hour, one at a time.

Until one random day, you turn around and you see you did the thing at your pace. And before you know it... POP! You built your own better side.

Happy New Year! 💛

P.S.: If you are looking for a coach to help you work on your projects this year, book an intro call with me in the link in bio, and let’s talk!

Is 2025 gonna be THE year?

I’m not into New Year’s resolutions, since every day is a new chance to start whatever we want to work on. BUT... we gotta admit that there’s something about having the WHOLE world thinking the same: we have a brand new year ahead.

And if you are thinking:

“2025 is gonna be THE YEAR I...”

Write a book.

Start a business.

Take a sabbatical.

But you are overwhelmed by what you are already doing and have no idea how to balance everything you have on your plate right now, then you won’t want to miss the ✨Year Planning Workshop✨ where you’ll learn how to design a system to work on your ambitious goals, while taking ambitious breaks, based on your unique challenges and needs.

Curious? Find your ticket in the link in bio and see you there! 💛

Wanna to get things done so you can watch Netflix in peace? SAME.

If you constantly feel like you are falling behind or are going from overdoing it to procrastinating and back, hear me out: there’s a better way. Now, I don’t know how that better way would look for you yet, but I can help you figure it out.

I’m not talking “productivity hacks” that’ll solve all your problems. Because most systems out there are created by people with very different lives. Let’s face it: we are not all ex-presidents of the USA —I’m looking at you Eisenhower Matrix.

The good news: you don’t need to fail at anyone’s method anymore. This time you get to design one for your unique plans and challenges.

The ✨Year Planning Workshop✨ is back to help you transform your BIG goals into doable baby steps.

WHAT’S INCLUDED?
🖍️ 4-hour Workshop
📒 The Workbook & Resources
🧭 Self-Management Toolkit
🗓️ Time to plan your projects
💛 10% discount for 1:1 Coaching

ALL that for 75€, for the online session, or 85€, for the in-person one in Berlin (Kreuzberg) which also includes tea + snacks.

I created the YPW in 2021 to help you discover a kinder and more playful approach to doing things. After shamelessly taking as many courses as I could, I finally arrived at what works for me. And now you’ll learn how to do the same: create a method to fit you like a glove.
