The first episode of my podcast,
Rhymes With Schmaren: the podcast for Black women to vent about white women
is available today on SoundCloud!
*link in my bio*
In this episode, I sit down with Tan Brown to talk about the responsibility that white women who have Black children with their Black partners have in preparing their kids for the world.
Rhymes with Schmaren is my way of coping with what I'm calling "Karen Trauma" in the hope of creating solidarity and support for other Black women and AFABs by sharing our stories about the unique relationship and resulting PTSD like symptoms we have with white women.
Description: the image is a black square with two white speech bubbles. The first speech bubble contains the words "Rhymes with" follwed by elipses. The second contains the word "Schmaren" in quotation marks.

As a Black, Indigenous skater I have been shown time and time again that in derby, like everywhere else, white people aren't thinking about US when they talk "diversity" and "inclusion."
