OSU

Senpai Son Le

🥋 Exciting News! 🎉

I am absolutely thrilled to share with all of you that I have achieved my second black belt in Kyokushin Karate at the Honbu Dojo under the guidance of the legendary Kazuyuki Hasegawa Soshi himself! 🙌🏻🎖️

This journey has been filled with sweat, determination, and countless hours of training, but it has all been worth it. Reaching this milestone signifies a tremendous personal growth, both physically and mentally. Kyokushin Karate has not only honed my martial arts skills but also instilled in me a deep sense of discipline, perseverance, and respect.

Training at the Honbu Dojo, the birthplace of Kyokushin Karate, has been an unparalleled experience. The atmosphere is charged with the spirit of Oyama Sensei's teachings, and every step taken on those hallowed grounds has been an opportunity to absorb the essence of this incredible martial art. I am grateful beyond words to have had the privilege of learning directly from the masters and being part of such a rich and esteemed lineage.

Achieving a second black belt is a testament to the unyielding dedication required to progress in Kyokushin Karate. It symbolizes the next stage of my martial arts journey, pushing me to explore deeper levels of technique, strength, and mental fortitude.

I am eager to continue my growth, constantly challenging myself to reach new heights and master the intricacies of this powerful discipline.

I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to my sensei, fellow practitioners, and everyone who has supported me throughout this arduous but immensely rewarding pursuit.

Your encouragement, guidance, and unwavering belief in my abilities have been invaluable.

To my family and friends, thank you for always standing by me, cheering me on, and understanding the sacrifices I've made to pursue my passion. Your love and unwavering support have been my rock, and I am forever grateful.

As I embark on this new chapter, I am filled with excitement and a profound sense of gratitude. The journey to my second black belt has been transformational, and I am eager to see where it takes me next. With humility and determination, I will continue to embrace the way of Kyokushin Karate, pushing myself to new limits, and striving for excellence.

Osu! 🙏🏻✊🏻

As we reflect on the Easter season, let us also draw inspiration from the many stories of courage, perseverance, and determination that define this time of year. The Easter story is one of triumph over adversity, of rising up in the face of challenges, and of never giving up in the pursuit of our goals.

As Kyokushin Karate practitioners, we can draw strength from this message and apply it to our own training and personal development. We must always remember that progress and growth require hard work, discipline, and a willingness to push ourselves beyond our limits. But just like the Easter story, the rewards of our efforts can be truly transformative.

So let us approach our Kyokushin Karate training with renewed focus and determination this Easter season. Let us strive to be the best versions of ourselves, and never give up on our dreams, no matter how difficult the path may seem. With the indomitable spirit of Kyokushin Karate, we can overcome any obstacle and achieve greatness. Osu! 🥚🥋🙏

„To practice kata is not to memorize an order. Find the katas that work for you, understand them, digest them & stick with them for life.“ - Gichin Funakoshi

Known as the Southern Kata within Kyokushin Karate 🥋 the Seipai was developed from Mas Oyama’s training under sensei Nei-Chu So. Sensei So was the top student of Gogen Yamaguchi (Goju-ryu) in Japan. Chojun Miyagi developed Goju-ryu from the system of Okinawan Karate, which originated from Southern Chinese Kempo.

The Southern Kata generally involve shorter movements and a closer fighting distance between opponents, Maai 間合い, based on the slippery, wet terrain of Southern China 🇨🇳
