The end of another year is approaching, December is here - the perfect time to reflect. Where to direct our energy in order to create healthier and more meaningful relationships with others? The last two years have taught us that we need healthier relationships in all aspects of our lives - our personal, professional and with OURSELVES. All I need for Xmas is...
This year celebrating Xmas with a wonderful dive πŸ’šπŸ§œπŸ§œπŸ»β€β™€οΈ

And what I love about diving is that communication gets so much clearer and to the point πŸ’ͺπŸš€ no more than essential.

Perfectly peaceful, relaxing and joyful. Exactly like Xmas should be.

There are 10 saboteurs: the Judge and 9 Accomplice Saboteurs!
Let's have a more detailed look at one of them - the Controller!

The Controller rules upon a common belief that when she/he is in charge it's a good thing, as things get done! The Controller wants you to see her/him as your friend that helps you! And there is some truth in that! The Controller is building upon your natural gifts and strengths! And she/he takes it to the extreme level of overdoing it, so at the end it triggers stress, tension and negative emotions.

How to distinguish between your Sage that is using your full potential and your Controller taking over? The easiest way is to notice which type of energy is present? Is it draining or thriving? Is it demotivating or supportive?

How would it feel to be constantly thriving and have a capacity to support your team at any time with every challenge?

Have you ever heard: who knows what is good and what is bad?

I'm sure you have heard at least once a story where a bad outcome at the end turned out to be a blessing! A friend lost a job, only to get way better one. Someone got stuck in a traffic jam and missed an important meeting, and found out later on that one participant was really ill, and infected more than half of other participants! Or someone else broke his leg during a busy period, and at the end enjoyed delegating more and going through this time with less stress! This all brings us to pointing out that we never know if the current bad thing is truly that bad. Maybe with time that would be the best thing that ever happened?

In any circumstances, it's always possible to select one of these perspectives:

Judge Saboteur - It's bad! or Sage - It's a gift!

Q: Which perspective is true?
A: Whichever you believe becomes true.

It's a self fulfilling prophecy! And it's your decision if you choose saboteur's "this is bad" or sage's "it's a gift". I'm sure you are already doing that to a certain extent! For example, if you went to your favorite restaurant and you found out that accidentally sth went wrong with your booking and there is no table for you. At first you will be annoyed of course but at the end of the evening you either checked out another spot or went home and saved some money.

It's easy with small challenges and it gets quite tough when circumstances get more and more challenging! And I bet, you even now thought of some expectations that are simply bad with no gifts there. Like your car got stolen or destroyed, chronic disease, covid19 etc. And that's why mental fitness is just a muscle to grow!
The more you practise with easy situations and being conscious and intentional about them, the easier it gets to choose sage perspective. And trust me, it is possible to turn all of these circumstances into gifts! Unfortunately most of us are trained to listen to the saboteurs perspectives. So, that's why it's hard to enjoy facing tough challenges and we tend to label them immediately as "bad".

So, do you know what is good and what is bad? Can you turn everything into a gift or opportunity?
