Berlin Cricket Club (BCC) finally ended their three-year wait — we’re back in the Bundesliga!

Taking on USG Chemnitz in the DCB T20 Bundesliga-Mens Qualifier 25/26, BCC posted a strong 154/8 in 20 overs, with Shravan Sharma leading the charge with a scintillating 83 off just 45 balls, ably supported by Awais and Sumit.

What followed was a masterclass in ruthless fast bowling. Awais and Imran tore through the Chemnitz top order, reducing them to 13/5 at the end of the powerplay. Then the ever-reliable Mr. Gill stepped in to finish the job, grabbing four quick wickets to seal an emphatic win. USG Chemnitz were bundled out for just 30, handing BCC a thumping 124-run victory.

This triumph not only secures BCC’s long-awaited return to the Bundesliga but also marks a symbolic breakthrough after two years of heartbreak at this very stage. Unsurprisingly, Shravan Sharma was named Player of the Match for his match-defining knock. 💥
