Finally retiring my trusty old Subsonic Skateboards GT40 after ten years of touring. The carbon fibre is worn through under its belly and the foam core is visible.
So many good memories with this one, but fortunately I ordered an identical twin in 2015, one of the last decks that Scott built.
By the way, the inspiration for my touring board came from Max Theaged, check out his film “Coffee High” on Vimeo: https://vimeo.com/98553703.

First skate day trip in a while, from Rathenow to Nauen along the Havelland-Radweg.
Last time on this route was with Adrian Oh from Singapore on the European leg of his tour around the world, but that time we did the full 110 km to Berlin.
Last Sunday, my trusty old Subsonic GT 40, the 85 mm Seismic Speed Vents and a light tailwind made the 50 km absolutely enjoyable even though this was my fist time on a skateboard in two years.

Je suis arrivé: Royan to Biarritz, along the Côte d’Argent on the Vélodyssée bicycle route. Approximately 400 km in 8 days.
This time I explored a lot of beaches and small coastal towns along the way. Best holidays ever!

Some pics of my skate trip from Rathenow to Berlin with Adrian Oh and Bernard Tan from Singapore two weeks ago.
Adrian is currently skating around the world and Bernard joined him on his Brompton Bicycle for a 7 day tour from Amsterdam to Berlin.
I joined the two on Saturday evening and camped with them on a campground in Rathenow, then guided them to Berlin along my favourite route, the Havelland-Radweg, on Sunday.
First time ever I did the whole 110 km in one day, and although I injured my board foot after only 20 km, it was a great day and a lot of fun to skate with Adrian again.
