Finally here they are! A micro-batch of control levers just landed two days before I'm off for holidays. Yes, these are friction shiftlevers, no that's not oldschool! It's the future of stepless (non-index) mechanical mullet shifting: combine whatever you want, mix Road or MTB, Shimano, SRAM, Campa and whatever shifting components for 2 to 13 speed drivetrains (or 4 to 26 with a double crankset). Compatible with road calipers, cantilevers or short pull road disc brakes. Perfectly balanced for those beautifull Growtac Equal Discbrakes. Sold individually - available as brifter L or R for 2x builds and brakelver L if you prefer a 1x drivetrain. So the good news: they've landed! The bad news: orders after tomorrow 3pm won't be shipped after I'm back around aug. 18.

are probably the best, tiny mechanical discbrakes on the market! With only 135g per caliper and it's very compact design they even fit on framesets with small rear triangles. No one regretted the purchase so far! I just took some new pictures to show those really beautifull colours as true as possible - at least far better than those catalogue pics available so far. Full range of colours on Flat Mount (FM) version are on stock, Post Mount (PM) is missing grey at the moment.

And yes, I look thoughtful in the photo. It has been an ambivalent year, economically but foremost mentally. Against the backdrop of a world that seems to slowly fall apart, with fundamental democratic erosions and all sorts of crises in every corner of the world, it might be reasonable. The best way for me personally to escape this from time to time is riding my bike, empty my brain, losing myself to the moment, resetting. I definitely didn't have enough of these escapes this year, so my biggest prefix for the year ahead is to as often as possible!

Wish you all a bright 2024, may it get a more peacefull, more social equitable, more sustainable and more consensual year for all people everywhere at the end!
