Tough day and disappointing results in Jena, but a team of friends who keep fighting for each other until the end 💚

🍀 Irish Win at Home! 🍀

The lad’s take the last game of the regular season with a convincing 42-12 victory against . A fast and open game lent to Irish’s strengths and they took a 25-0 lead by half time. Dresden came back strong in the 2nd half and registered a couple of tries of their own, but Berlin Irish kept the scoreboard ticking over, including a Hattrick for to claim a solid victory. 🥳💚

🍀Irish take 5th place! 🍀

A narrow loss to BSV92 left Irish in the lower half of the draw, but then they turned on the style with 2 wins and a draw in their remaining games to finish a solid 5th place at Jungfernheide today.

Next up, a trip down south to beautiful Jena on 30th May for the final tournament of the eastern division. See you soon! 💚

Here’s the Irish squad for the 3rd round of the RDF Eastern Sevens Series - hosted by us at Sportanlage Jungfernheide.

Captain Anna Weber leads out a stacked team looking to build on their midfield position in this years standings and to start challenging towards the top of the division. Meanwhile three of the team’s young prospects will be turning out for the Pirate team 🏴‍☠️. Come down to Jungfernheide tomorrow from 11am, cheer them on and lend your Support to the Green Machine! 🏉💚

This Saturday we’re delighted to host the next round of the Sevens Series! Our Seven’s team head into the Spring rounds following promising performances in a 3rd place finish in the Frühlingspokal Ost 3 weeks earlier.

There’ll be BBQ and Drinks available and visiting teams from all across East Germany showing off the best Sevens around - so head down to Sportanlage Jungfernheide from 11am and cheer on the team!

We’ve invited our great friends the to a Triple Matchday at Jungfernheide where each of our Adult Teams will feature, including a first ever XVs game for our Women’s team 🤩, a St. Patricks 🍀 rematch for the Touch Team and a Matiu Peel Trophy Challenge 🏆 for the Men! Meanwhile the Youth Teams will all be at Jungfernheide too, playing and holding their End of Season Awards

On Sunday we’re inviting all members old and new, family, friends, fans and supporters to our 10th Birthday party at our fantastic sponsors .mitte . We’ll raise a glass or two to a decade of Grassroots Rugby, present our Annual Club Awards and look forward to the next 10 years of this great club 💚
