Unser Einkaufsteam entscheidet nicht selten ohne einen gewissen Eigennutz, wenn es um neue Stoffe oder Farben fürs Sortiment geht. Was gibt’s Schöneres, als für jeden Neuzugang gleich ein Projekt in der Pipeline zu haben? So war’s auch bei unserem neuen Diamond Ripstop-Nylon aus 210den Robic. Für die nächste Tour in den französischen Alpen musste eine kleine, leichte Framebag für einen XS-Rahmen her. Am besten in den passenden Farben zur Lackierung des Bikes. Nicht ganz ohne Zufall passt „golden yellow“ und „potent purple“ perfekt! Für einen sanften Kontrast sorgen der Rand und die Reißverschluss-Garagen aus X-Pac® RX30 in pflaume. Also ging‘s gleich nach der Lieferung an die Nähmaschine. Und das Ergebnis sieht nicht nur gut aus, sondern hat sich auf Tour auch schon bestens bewährt!

Our purchasing team often makes decisions with quite some self-interest when it comes to new fabrics or colors for our product range. What could be better than having a project planned for every new addition? That's exactly how it was with our new Diamond Ripstop Nylon made from 210den Robic. For a planned tour in the French Alps, we needed a small, lightweight framebag for an XS frame—preferably in colors that match the bike's paint job. It's no coincidence that "golden yellow" and "potent purple" are a perfect match! The trim and zipper garages, made from X-Pac® RX30 in plum, provide a subtle contrast. So right after delivery, the fabrics went straight to the sewing machine. And the result not only looks great but has already proven itself on the trail!

Weiter geht’s mit der Kurzvorstellung unserer neuen Sonderposten! Das Highlight sind natürlich die super-günstigen Cordura®-Taschenstoffe. Bei gleicher Qualität wie unsere Standards kosten sie weniger als die Hälfe! Super praktisch sind die Stoffe mit Anti-Rutsch-Punkten. So praktisch, dass sie sich auch gut als Standards im Sortiment machen würden. Ich bin gespannt, wie sie bei Euch ankommen! Das High-Vis-Polyester kommt vielleicht etwas zu spät für die dunkle Jahreszeit, aber ich bin sicher, da findet sich auch jetzt die eine oder andere Anwendung! Viel Spaß beim Planen und Stöbern!

Let’s continue with the quick overview of our new specials! The highlight, of course, is our super-affordable Cordura® bag fabrics. They offer the same quality as our standard fabrics but cost less than half the price! The fabrics with anti-slip dots are super useful. So useful that they would also make great additions to our standard lineup. I’m curious to see how they’ll be received by you! The high-visibility polyester might be a bit late for the dark season, but I’m sure there are still plenty of uses for it even now! Have fun planning and browsing!

Und schon wieder gibt’s ordentlich Spar-Potenzial für Dein nächstes Projekt! Wir haben einen Riesen-Sonderposten neu reinbekommen. Und auch schon zur Hälfte abgearbeitet und online gestellt! Zu günstigen Preisen gibt’s aktuell viele Stoffe für die Outdoor-Garderobe sowie ein paar Cordura-Standards. Los geht es in diesem Teil 1 mit Softshells, Jerseys und wasserdichten, atmungsaktiven 3-Lagen-Laminaten. Natürlich gilt wir immer bei extremtextil: Das ist keine billige Ramschware, sondern immer Top-Stoffe von High-End-Herstellern. Viel Spaß beim Stöbern und Shoppen!

Once again, there’s plenty of savings to be had for your next project! We’ve just received another huge shipment of remnant fabrics — and half of it is already online! We currently have a wide selection of fabrics for outdoor garment at great prices, along with some Cordura styles. We’re kicking things off in this Part 1 with softshells, jerseys, and waterproof, breathable 3-layer laminates. Und noch ein Junk Trunk! Allerdings in einer etwas abgespeckten Variante und in deutlich knalligeren Farben. Aber wieder nach dem tollen Junk Trunk Schnittmuster von . Da die Tasche für ein Gravelrad in der Größe XS mit entsprechend schmalem Lenker gedacht ist, wurden die Seitentaschen kleiner angelegt und die Breite wurde etwas verringert. Außerdem wurde auf den Extra-Zugriff mit Reißverschluss verzichtet. Also richtig schön maßgeschneidert!

And yet another Junk Trunk! However, this one is a slightly slimmed-down version in much brighter colors. But again, it's based on the awesome Junk Trunk pattern from . Since the bag is intended for a gravel bike in size XS with correspondingly narrow handlebars, the side pockets were made smaller and the width was reduced slightly. In addition, the extra zipper access was omitted. So it's really beautifully tailored!

Kennst Du noch unseren "Softshell 01 ohne Membran mit Merinowolle"? Einer unserer Favoriten für Wander- und Tourenhosen im Herbst und Winter? Wir hatten hin und wieder einen Sonderposten von Schoeller, Made in Switzerland, am Lager.  Nach einer längeren Pause haben wir endlich mal wieder einen Posten davon reinbekommen. Und das zu einem super Preis und in 5 Farben plus schwarz:

Da Schoeller seine schweizer Produktion eingestellt hat, ist das einer der letzten Softshells von dort. Und wie immer bei Sonderposten gilt: wenn weg, dann weg.

Der perfekte Stoff Trekkinghosen, Skitourenhosen oder leichte Jacken:  robust,  schnell trocknend,  sehr atmungsaktiv, wärmend und elastisch.

Als idealer und ausgiebig getesteter Hosen-Schnitt hat sich für diesen Stoff übrigens die "Stretch Hiking Pants" von bewährt. Perfekte Passform, technische Details, individualisierbar und mit super Support von Taylor Birgit!

Do you remember our “Softshell 01 without membrane with merino wool”? One of our favorites for hiking and touring pants in fall and winter? We occasionally had a special stock from Schoeller, Made in Switzerland, in stock. After a long break, we finally got another batch in. And at a great price and in 5 colors plus black:

Softshell with Merino wool, without membrane, naturtec, double weave, 170g/sqm

Since Schoeller has discontinued its Swiss production, this is one of the last softshells made in Switzerland. And as always with special items: once they're gone, they're gone.

The perfect fabric for Trekking pants, ski touring pants, or light jackets:  robust,  quick-drying,  very breathable, warm, and elastic.

By the way: The “Stretch Hiking Pants” from have proven to be the ideal and extensively tested pant pattern for this fabric. Perfect fit, technical details, customizable, and with great support by Taylor Birgit!

100% wasserdichtes und luftdichtes Diamond Ripstop aus 40den Nylon 6.6. Das reißfeste Grundgewebe ist auf der Innenseite mit einer dünnen TPU-Folie und auf der Außenseite mit  einem leichten, unscheinbaren Kisscoating beschichtet. Dank Kisscoating kann der Stoff TPU auf TPU oder TPU auf Kisscoating gebügelt werden – das eröffnet ganz neue Design-Möglichkeiten.

- hydrolysebeständige TPU-Beschichtung (wird auch durch längere Feuchtigkeit nicht zersetzt)
