Jill’s artistic approach is based on personal experience, observation, and a strong connection to society and people. She is passionate about exploring the intersections between choreographic writing, music, and cultural exchange collaborations. Her work emphasizes authenticity and realism, using dance and physical theatre to communicate stories about life and identity. She places strong emphasis on creating work that is inclusive and emotionally engaging, even for those who may not be familiar with contemporary dance. Jill has participated in choreographic competitions such as Hannover, Copenhagen, Stuttgart, and Masdanza, and was selected for Lucky Trimmer. She won the Luxembourgish Dance Award in 2019 and the PEARLS Prize for her short film NILYNDA. In 2021, she created a dance piece (Tanzabend) for the Folkwang University of the Arts in Essen (DE), to name one example, and became a TEDx speaker. After 20 years of working around the world, Jill continues to collaborate worldwide with various institutions, dance companies, youth ballets, and universities, while remaining an active freelance performer. Her involvement in dance-therapeutic projects and creations contributes to expanding the potential of dance to a wider audience. Her dance company, JC Movement Production – Jill Crovisier, founded in 2013, is funded by the Ministry of Culture Luxembourg.

The language of Gaga originated from the belief in the healing, dynamic, and ever-changing power of movement. Gaga offers a creative framework to listen deeply to our bodies. We work with our physical sensations in search of freedom and pleasure, and to connect conscious and unconscious movement. With no mirrors or spectators, comfortable clothes, and accompanied by music, there is an atmosphere of non-judgmental exploration.
