PERFORMANCE PROJECT with Heidi Weiss ✨

One week of training, creating and performing together.

Led by Heidi Weiss, the Performance Project combines Weissmann Technique with improvisation, movement phrases and composition. Throughout the week, the group will explore different creative approaches and develop solos, duos, trios and group sections into a 5–10 minute performance piece.

The work will be presented as part of our marameo Summer Celebration on August 22.

SUMMER CAMP ☀️💥

Still looking for plans for the summer holidays?

Join us for four afternoons full of dance, movement, creativity & fun! Together with Chiara Schmiedel, young dancers will explore contemporary dance, freestyle, improvisation and acrobatic elements – from floorwork and lifts to rolls, turns and jumps.

Throughout the camp, the group will create their own choreography and finish the week with a small showing for family & friends. ✨

SEQUENTIAL FLOW: FROM IMPULSE TO EXPRESSION ✨

Join Manuel Meza for a five-day intensive exploring sequential impulses, energetic pathways and fluid movement.

Rooted in the intersection of modern and contemporary dance techniques and improvisation, this workshop combines a grounding technique class with choreographic phrases, movement invention tasks and improvisational scores. Together, you’ll cultivate a charged physical presence, awaken the spine and discover the joy of movement while pushing beyond physical and mental boundaries.

SHIFTING PERSPECTIVES: THE JOY OF THE UNKNOWN ✨

Join Maciej Sado for a five-day intensive in movement research and improvisation.

Through structured improvisational scores, somatic approaches and collective exploration, the workshop investigates how movement can be accessed and generated from within. Together, you’ll explore relationships to space, music, gaze, time, objects and composition—gradually moving beyond familiar patterns into the productive space of not knowing.

Maciej Sado is a choreographer, dancer, performer, dramaturg, teacher and curator whose work questions normativity and explores the body through q***r, socio-political and speculative perspectives.

This summer has been full of movement, encounters, inspiration and new connections. Together we’ve shared classes, workshops, creative processes and countless moments in the studio. Before the summer comes to an end, we’d love to bring everyone together one more time.

Join us for an evening of performances, music, food, drinks and, above all, the chance to celebrate the amazing community that makes marameo what it is. Whether you’ve joined us for one class, spent the whole summer dancing with us, taught, volunteered or simply stopped by – this evening is for all of us.

Contemporary for Dancers with Manuel Meza ✨

Join Manuel Meza for a morning practice rooted in his ongoing movement research, Sequential Flow.

Through structured warm-ups, choreographic phrases and improvisational tasks, the class explores sequential impulses, energetic pathways and fluid transitions. Working at the intersection of contemporary technique and improvisation, dancers are invited to awaken the spine, deepen their physical awareness and discover a charged, expressive movement quality.

At the heart of Manuel’s practice is the joy of movement and the desire to move beyond physical and mental boundaries.

Manuel is teaching until Saturday, August 1.

Contemporary Ballet with Yurie Nishi ✨

Discover a fresh approach to ballet that blends classical technique with the expressive qualities of contemporary dance.

Through musicality, fluidity, off-balance movement and dynamic combinations, you’ll strengthen your technique while expanding your movement vocabulary in a creative and inspiring environment. Each class concludes with a short choreography, giving space to explore artistic expression and performance.
