The dancers showed great presence in "tría" performed by our graduating group and 2nd year dancers for the "Admission to Dance" Performance in March 2026.

Our 3-year Dance Degree Program is an international, recognized dance training program aimed at aspiring dancers who wish to pursue dance as a profession.

The versatile curriculum of the program includes classes such as Ballet, Modern Dance (Graham and Horton), Contemporary Dance, Jazz Dance, Commercial Dance, Improvisation, Partnering, Pilates as well as Anatomy, Dance Theory, Dance History, Composition, Dance Pedagogics and much more!
You will go onstage, perform live, rehearse and work with different choreographers, and at the end of the program create your own graduation piece!

The professional dance program of Dance Academy Balance 1 celebrates its 30th anniversary this year 💥😄🍾🥂
Miriam, the founder of the Academy and the dance program, and her sister Stephanie, today the executive board, still can't believe it, but its' true!!!

30 years ago the first auditions were held for the first new year to start this incredible and exciting journey. Now we are looking back on so many audition periods, so many dance performances and so many wonderful alumni!!!

A lot of gorgeous dance teachers and choreographers have been teaching and creating pieces for our professional students, so we would like to say THANK YOU to everyone joining us from the bottom of our hearts.

For this extraordinary occasion, we'd like to share little by little some of all the beautiful moments of this inspiring path and Balance 1 history!

We’ll start with a short article from the Berliner Zeitung, which reported on the
newly established training program in 1996.

We'd also love to reach out to all our great alumni telling all of you: yes, we plan a reunion with all of you to celebrate this event and use it to finally meet and see you all again! Since the timing is a bit short for this year, please stay tuned for next year sometime in June!!!
It can't be true we had our last reunion in 2015!!! 🙏🥰🤙

Throwback to our Graduation Choreographies 2024: here comes SUOICSNOCBUS by Beatrice De Filippi . The dance about her choreography: My piece deals with the two contradicted perspectives of how we define reality.
The first reality is the whirlwind of everyday life, the one that we consider as the "normal one."
The second reality is the world of our imagination. The reality that we live inside of ourselves, in our minds and dreams, is the subconscious reality.
That's why the piece is called "subconscious" but written in a mirrored way because by entering that world, it seems that you're looking into yourself as you do with a mirror.
What if we are living a life that everyone defines as the real one, but the real reality is what we think is just imagination?
What if the real reality is the imaginary world and we always dreamed in the normal one? Is a reality where you can't be yourself and each be absurd and weird in your own way really real?
