Kathi Garus ist neue Gravel Vize-Europameisterin in ihrer Altersklasse 45-49. Diese Medaille hat sie sich in dieser Saison redlich verdient. Drei UCI Gravel Qualifier Siege, 2 zweite Plätze und den Gesamtsieg beim 3RIDES Gravel Stage Race in Winterberg haben gezeigt, dass sie eine der besten Gravelracer ihrer Altersklasse in Europa ist. Wir gratulieren von ganzem Herzen. Kathi, du machst uns verdammt stolz!

Komplettiert wurde das starke Team-Ergebnis durch einen 5. Platz von Manuela Freund und einen 28. Platz von Mario Lisok in der jeweiligen Altersklasse.

Kathi Garus is the new European Gravel Vice-Champion in the 45–49 age group. She has truly earned this medal this season. Three UCI Gravel Qualifier wins, two second places and overall victory in the 3RIDES Gravel Stage Race in Winterberg have shown that she is one of the best gravel racers in her age group in Europe. We offer our heartfelt congratulations. Kathi, you make us so proud!

This strong team result was rounded off by a 5th place for Manuela Freund and a 28th place for Mario Lisok in their respective age groups.

Drei Tage packendes Racing, fast 100% Schotter, ein hochkarätiges internationales Feld und sehr positive Resonanz: 3RIDES ist mit der ersten Auflage des Gravel Stage Race in Winterberg um ein Kapitel reicher. Wir danken allen Teilnehmerinnen und Teilnehmern, die 3RIDES Gravel Winterberg mit Leben gefüllt und zu einem gelungenen Premieren-Wochenende gemacht haben.

Wir bedanken uns außerdem bei allen Helferinnen und Helfern sowie unseren Partnern, die uns erst den Rahmen gegeben haben, um aus Winterberg für ein Wochenende eine Gravel-Hochburg zu machen!

Wir stecken derweil in der Nachbereitung des Wochenendes, mit der wir sicher noch einige Tage beschäftigt sein werden. Parallel arbeiten wir aber bereits daran, die Zukunft von 3RIDES zu gestalten – sowohl von neuen Events an spannenden Locations als auch an der Weiterentwicklung unseres tollen Events in Winterberg.

Three days of thrilling racing, nearly 100% gravel, a top-notch international field, and very positive feedback: 3RIDES has added another chapter to its story with the first edition of the Gravel Stage Race in Winterberg. We’d like to thank all the participants who brought 3RIDES Gravel Winterberg to life and made this debut weekend such a success.

We’d also like to thank all the volunteers and our partners, who provided the framework that allowed us to turn Winterberg into a gravel mecca for the weekend!

We’re currently wrapping up the weekend’s aftermath, which will surely keep us busy for a few more days. At the same time, however, we’re already working on shaping the future of 3RIDES—both by planning new events at exciting locations and by further developing our fantastic event in Winterberg.
