🇩🇪 Es geht für uns an die Küste 🌊 Vom 4.-6. Juni findet ihr uns täglich von 10 bis 18 Uhr beim Fotofestival Horizonte Zingst. Egal ob Wildlife-Fotografie, Digiskopie oder einfach Naturbeobachtung, kommt vorbei und schaut selbst durch unsere Optiken.

🇬🇧 We're heading to the coast 🌊 From June 4-6, you'll find us at the Fotofestival Horizonte Zingst between 10:00 and 18:00. Whether you're into wildlife photography, digiscoping or simply enjoy observing nature in more detail, come by and take a closer look through our optics.

In our latest blog post, we tested bird identification at 50m, 150m, 300m and even 500m distance. What changes surprisingly quickly isn't just the size of the bird in the image, but the amount of visible detail. Heat haze, air clarity and lighting all start playing a huge role at longer distances. It's a really interesting reminder of how much conditions influence what we see in the field!

A good digiscoping adapter should disappear in use 👀
Compared to the previous generation, the SMARTOSCOPE VARIO II is not only significantly lighter, but also smoother and more refined to operate. The new lightweight body reduces weight by around 25%, while the integrated rubber disc improves the movement and fixing of the optics arm for even more precise alignment.
