Last year at Global Birdfair, Axel Drioli from Sounding Wild told us about his journey following migratory birds through Africa. This year, we caught up with him again to see where that journey has taken him.
Over the past 12 months, Axel has travelled further across Africa, capturing bird sounds and gathering material for immersive audio and VR experiences designed to bring the sounds of the natural world closer to people.

This little walk through the marquee turned into a pretty good reminder of just how far the Kowa community reaches – with plenty of familiar faces from Central and South America along the way.
