The DÜSSELDORF VIKINGS welcome Europe to their home ground.☺️

Tchoukball has been played in Düsseldorf since 2013, and the team has worked its way up the ranks step by step over the years. Tchoukball Düsseldorf got its first taste of international competition at the European Silver Cup in 2017 and 2019.👀

In recent years, the next big step followed: from 2022 to 2025, they secured the German championship four times in a row. In 2023, they competed in the European Winners Cup for the first time, finishing 9th last year.🤙🏼

Now a special chapter begins. Hosting the European Winners Cup on home ground means a lot to the team and the whole club, and after all these years of development, it is something truly special.🫶🏼

The VIKINGS are heading into the tournament with great expectations and a clear determination. In front of their home crowd, they will fight for every ball, give nothing away and show how much class and energy this team has.💥🔥

In the group stage, they will face the Portsmouth Warriors, Saronno Castor and TBC Comtois.👏🏼

📢 Defending champions starting in Düsseldorf 🏆✨

The FERRARA MONKEYS are travelling as the current champions of the European Winners Cup and therefore belongs of course one of the favourites.🐒

In 2025, they won the title in Rovello and beat Rovello Sgavisc in the final. The two teams met again in the Italian championship in the 2024/25 season, this time with the better end for Rovello.

With these duels behind them, FERRARA will enter the race again in 2026 and will present themselves in strong shape.💪🏼👀

Not only their performances are impressive, but also their jerseys: one black, one white, both with a huge gorilla as a symbol.🔥🐒

In the group stage, they will face Bury Kings, TSV Zorneding and Lausanne Olympic in Group B.🙌🏼

The GENEVA DRAGONS from Geneva are ready for their next appearance on the international stage.💥

They have been one of the leading teams in the Swiss league for several years now and won the Swiss Cup earlier this month.🏆

They have also been at the top of the EWC for some time now and won the bronze medal in Rovello in 2025.🥉

They will go into the tournament with plenty of pace, spirit and a strong attacking game and want to reach for the stars again in 2026.✨

In the group stage, they will face Caronno Vikings, Lions Lennep and Rumcajska Jicin.👀

📢 One special team at the European Winners Cup comes from the Czech Republic: RUMCAJSKA JICIN 🇨🇿🔥

They are the only team from their country to make the trip from JICIN to Düsseldorf. With an average age of 21.6, they are the youngest team in the competition, with players aged between 14 and 43.📝

At the EWC 2024 in Zory, they finished 11th, beating Phoenix Marignier. 💪🏼

In Group A, they face the Geneva Dragons, Lions Lennep and the Caronno Vikings. They will be playing in their grey/red and blue kits.🔥

The Swiss team travels down from almost 1,000 metres above sea level to Düsseldorf to take part in the EWC and compete against the beste Teams from Europe.🏆

They clearly have a lot of international experience. With several players who have already had the honour of wearing the Swiss national jersey, they will do everything in their power to have a successful tournament. 🙌🏼

In Group C, they face tough competition from Rovello Sgavisc, the Tres Olivos Eagles and the Poitiers Tchoukball Club, but there is strong competition in every group at the EWC.🔥

And of course, this isn’t their first time there; they have a lot of experience on the international stage. 🧐

The team brings a mix of experienced players and young talents and is ready for the tournament. 👀

In 2024, they won the European Silver Cup and finished fourth at last year’s EWC.🔥

In their light blue and black jerseys, they will face the Düsseldorf Vikings, Portsmouth Warriors and TBC Comtois in the group stage (Group D). 📝

The POITIERS TCHOUKBALL CLUB is making its debut at the European Winners Cup this year. We are all the more excited to welcome the team to Düsseldorf!🥳

With an average age of 28.1, the POITIERS will definitely bring some experience to the field. In their purple and white kits, they aim to show straight away that they have got some great tchoukball in their bag.🎒🔥

In the group stage, they will face Rovello Sgavisc, Tres Olivos Eagles and the TBCC Beehives.

🏆🇭🇺 Unsere " LIONS" waren dieses Wochenende beim European Silver Cup in Ungarn am Start, direkt am wunderschönen Lake Velence nahe Budapest.

Für unser Team war es das erste "offizielle" internationale Turnier, und wir könnten nicht stolzer sein! Mit einem starken 10. Platz im Gepäck kehren die Lions nach Hause zurück. 💛🦁

An diesem Wochenende gab es viele unvergessliche Momente, neuen Freundschaften und viele tolle Begegnungen mit Teams aus anderen Nationen.
