The summer vacation is over and all of the schools are back to normal.
Although we did not really take a summer break we know that many people are new to Dusseldorf and the area around it and may be looking for some new activities to join.
We are a small group of people of all ages and abilities enjoying weekly classes in Irish dance (Riverdance, Lord of the Dance and similar shows).
It is a sport, hobby, social exercise and we invite anyone interested or looking to try something different to come along and see if it is something they would like to do.
Lessons are taught in English but of course we have German speakers in the class and occasionally we do get other languages as we have many different nationalities in the school.
We offer both solo (soft shoe and hard shoe) and team dancing (Ceili) and for those who are really keen, we do competitions.
Everyone goes at their own pace and learns as much as they want to as they go along. Everyone is taught the same way whether they are competitive dancers or hobby dancers, so there is no being left out or behind.
