March 1st – we’re entering the final month of registration for the European Gasshuku.
Maybe you feel it too. The world seems restless. Loud. Divided. There’s tension in so many places. And that is exactly why moments like this matter.
The dojo has always been more than just a place to train.
It is a place of respect. A place of encounter. A place where background, opinions, and status step aside – and character, discipline, and heart come forward.
Thank you to everyone who has already registered.
Thank you to everyone supporting, organizing, sharing, and standing behind this event. You are what makes it alive.
Let’s come together at the European Gasshuku to remember what karate truly stands for – connection instead of division, strength without hostility, unity instead of opposition.
For a few days, let’s focus on training, learning, sweating, growing, and sharing the same space with mutual respect.
Let’s create something meaningful.
An event by you and for you. ❤️

European Gasshuku – the countdown is on 🙌
It won’t be long now until we meet in Halle for an unforgettable week of training, spirit, and community. Are you ready?
Many of you are currently asking about accommodation, so here are some helpful tips:
The closest hotel to the SWH Arena is
TRYP by Wyndham Halle
It’s only about a 20-minute walk from the venue – simple, convenient, and stress-free.
Another great option is staying in the city center. The tram stop near the arena is about an 11-minute walk away, and lines 2, 9, and 10 stop there regularly.
From Marktplatz Halle the tram ride takes approximately 14 minutes to reach the venue (stop: Mark-Twain-Straße).
You can plan your connection here:

Destination: Halle (Saale), Mark-Twain-Str.
If you need help or have questions, feel free to reach out.
We can’t wait to welcome you to Halle for the European Gasshuku – strong training, great people, and an incredible atmosphere await. 🥋🔥

The European Gasshuku 2026 is not just about training – it’s about the place, the people and the shared experience.
This year, we come together in Halle (Saale) – a vibrant city in the heart of Germany, rich in history, culture and character. A walkable city center, historic architecture, green riversides along the Saale and a strong local atmosphere make Halle the perfect setting for an intensive and memorable Gasshuku.
Places at the Gasshuku are limited.
At the moment, only around 30 percent of the available spots are still open.
Registration is possible only until 30 March 2026.
There is also a special incentive for early registration:
Everyone who registers by 15 March 2026 will be entered into a draw to win a Busaganeshi figure – a meaningful Okinawan symbol and a special keepsake connected to our tradition.
If you are planning to join us, now is the right time.
Train together, connect beyond the dojo and experience the European Gasshuku 2026 in Halle.

For our Sayonara Party we have secured a very special location:
the Hallesches Brauhaus – a traditional brewpub right in the center of Halle. On this evening, the venue will be reserved exclusively for us. Beer is brewed on site, handcrafted and regional in character. You can expect freshly tapped beers, including the local unfiltered lager, pilsner and dark beers, paired with hearty traditional brewpub cuisine. The atmosphere between copper brewing kettles and historic vaulted rooms is the perfect setting to close the Gasshuku together.
Tickets for the Sayonara Party will be handed out during on-site registration together with your welcome bags.
Places are limited – if you are still planning to attend the Gasshuku, please make sure to tick the box for the Sayonara Party during registration.
As a special highlight, Yannick Schultze will present the second part of his talk on Okinawan Karate – a fitting conclusion to an intense and shared weekend.
We are very much looking forward to this evening with you.

All registrations until March 15th, 2026 automatically receive a raffle ticket.
You can win a handcrafted Busaganshi figure – a strong symbol in Goju Ryu representing protection, posture and inner strength.
This prize was chosen intentionally. It reflects the values behind our training and the spirit of the European Gasshuku.
If you are planning to attend anyway, early registration makes sense.
