While hiking in the Italian Alps, they witnessed a breathtaking scene: the famous Tre Cime di Lavaredo were wrapped in thick clouds, shaped by the wind – as if the mountains were being embraced by nature itself. A sight they’ll never forget!

CLOUDBREAK HAS CHANGED EVERYTHING
More than just a tent, Cloudbreak has redefined the camping experience for groups and families. It has broken new ground in overlanding, providing the perfect balance of safety, comfort and freedom for those exploring the world together.

Named after the legendary wave in Fiji, the name stands for power and endless possibilities - reliable protection for those who follow adventure wherever they go. Cloudbreak offered plenty of space, a separate living area and large entrances. However, what set new standards for tents of this size was the speed with which they could be set up and taken down.

HEIMPLANET Tents look different from conventional tents. However, the striking aesthetics were not the aim of the design process, but a consequence of the functionality. In the search for a suitable structure for our tents, we came across the so-called geodesic dome - the lightest, strongest and most efficient structure ever developed. Geometric transformations of this basic structure have resulted in the HEIMPLANET the tent models you know today.

In this shot, the Cloudbreak tent stands out against the deep black background, its geometric frame creating a bold contrast. The intricate structure not only enhances stability but also gives the tent its unmistakable silhouette—an architectural form designed for the wild. Captured from above, the design becomes even more apparent, highlighting the perfect balance of function and aesthetics.

Named after a large wave on the Fiji Islands, the Cloudbreak is a reliable, flexible and easy to use tent for group and family camping and overlanding.

INTERPLANETARY TRAVEL
It feels as if the landing has been successful. The rover is stationary, the red dust lies heavy on the tires. The wind swirls sand across the endless plain, where craggy rocks jut out of the barren landscape. We set up our base camp in the middle of this Mars-like backdrop that we have found in Iceland. Our base camp for the next few days is called Cloudbreak.

With its clean, modern lines and a structure designed for extreme environments, the Cloudbreak fits perfectly into the Icelandic wilderness. The tent was erected quickly. Once anchored, nothing can move it.
