Since this year's eAMUN conference is anything but ordinary, we had to adapt the Rules of Procedure (RoP) to the online format.
You can find the updated version here: http://alstermun.org/rules-of-procedure
Please take a few moments to read them properly in preparation for the conference. ;-)

The issues to be discussed in the United Nations Environmental Assembly (UNEA) are as follows:
- Developing guidelines for deep-sea mining with particular regard to practices that cause environmental issues
- Establishing guidelines for sustainable forestry and mediating the conflict between environmental and economic interests regarding deforestation
Over the course of the last few years, debates on environmental sustainability and a more ecologically friendly production have made huge progress in terms of public recognition and private action.
The resolutions coming from this forum tackle problems on a global scale and seek to enable the most basic industrial processes to evolve and develop with thought and responsibility.
We are looking forward to the creative and innovative ways the delegates of this committee are going to choose in order to fight for their future.

The issues to be discussed by the Human Rights Council are as follows:
- Securing the right to protest with special regard to operations carried out by government agencies
- The question of infringement of human rights during an epidemic crisis
Since the Universal Declaration of Human Rights in 1948, the UN has always fought for the upholding of these most important rights. Despite the tireless work of countless honourable delegates, there is and always will be work to be done as new and worrying developments are happening at every moment in every place.
We are interested in how our delegates choose to carry this burden of history and aim to change our global future.
