⚓ EARNED, NOT GIVEN ⚓

Live Screening: AFL Grand Final The Irishman Hamburg
📍 Neuer Pferdemarkt 1 (U Feldstrasse)
🕡 Saturday 26th September, 6:30am

21 points down at three-quarter-time. Staring down the barrel. And then Fremantle Dockers decided September rules don't apply to them — six unanswered goals later, they're through, 12.11 (83) to 10.11 (71).

The best things in life are earned. Apparently so is a 6:30am alarm.

After a prelim final like that, staying in bed was never an option. Purple army, set those alarms.

🚨 Sydney Swans vs Fremantle Dockers - AFL PRELIMINARY FINAL 🚨
Friday, First Bounce at 11:40am, Paddy's Bar Hamburg 📍 (doors open 11:30, so straight in and straight to your seat)
One win from a second Grand Final. Freo hasn't been this close to September glory since... well, since we won our maiden Premiership back in 2013. Sydney's the only thing standing in the way, and Hamburg intends to make more noise about it than most people manage from the MCG outer.
Purple on, b**rs in hand, let's send them through.

🚨 GAME DAY AT THE IRISHMAN 🚨
Fremantle Dockers vs Hawthorn, AFL Qualifying Final - 3rd of Sep, live from 12:10pm, The Irishman Hamburg📍

Some context for the newer members: we're not just Dockers by name. Freo kitted us out with our very first jumpers and footballs back when this club was starting from scratch, and in 2013 both Hamburg Dockers and the actual Dockers made their first-ever Grand Final in the very same season. We won ours. They're still working on theirs — but this year, with the Minor Premiership wrapped up and sitting top of the ladder, it feels like their turn is finally coming. 💜

So it's about time we returned the favour and packed a bar 16,000km from Perth to make some noise for them.
Grab a seat, grab a b**r, get loud — let's send them into September the right way.

Moin Moin and G’day Dockers! ⚓️🇦🇺

It’s official: the hibernation is over! 🐻💤

We’ll be honest - we haven't felt our toes since the last siren of 2025. We were starting to think they’d permanently retired. But the weather gods have looked down upon the Stadtpark and decided we’ve suffered enough!

Forget the triple-layered thermals, the forecast is calling for a scorching 14 DEGREES for our second run! ☀️🔥 In Hamburg terms, that’s practically a heatwave. We’re already looking for the club sunscreen and considering a post-training dip in the Stadtpark Lake (okay, maybe not that far). 🧴😎

It’s time to dust off the boots and get back into the huddle for the SECOND TRAINING OF THE SEASON! 🏉

As you can see from our strategy meeting (pictured), our primary tactic is usually "The Human Space Heater" for survival. But with this tropical 14-degree "summer" weather, we might actually be able to kick the ball without it feeling like a frozen brick! 🧊🔨

Whether you're a seasoned veteran or a "fresh face" who thinks a Sherrin is a type of craft b**r - we want YOU!
