Hello! My name is Natalia Gofman, or simply (Instagram)
From when I was at school I could not make up my mind as to what I would like to do and my future profession. Later I completed a higher degree education in the speciality of “Quality manager”, but even then I was not sure how to apply my knowledge into real life in an enjoyable way. At the same time I got taken by needle felting of various toys.
Then I was on maternity leave. There was too much free time and I had to find something to occupy myself. So I have started doing a lot of needle felting and developing my skill but with time I have realised that there are other things besides it, firstly I want to go further and secondly needle felting limits the possibilities of the toy to a static position and inability to move much but also the uniformity of the structure does not always allow to achieve the necessary properties of the particular toy. Then I have started working in a combined technique of sewing and felting and ultimately almost completely gave up needle felting, using it only in the final stages, because I have enjoyed mostly sewing toys, painting them and getting them to look as life-like as I could. That is how my new hobby was born - making realistic toys. When my hobby started generating some income, I realised that previously I have been doing the wrong things and studying the wrong profession, as I always felt a craving for creativity and design. However, the stereotype that creativity cannot be a profession has done its job. Well, I still have everything ahead of me, I plan to further develop my skills, improve them and possibly implement something new.
Why realistic toys? Since my childhood I loved the little fluffy animals, and I constantly brought them home. Therefore, my creative potential fulfils itself in the form of a realistic toy: I want to give every toy a home, as well as make people happy with the presence of wonderful furry friends.

Nowadays there is no need in killing animals to hang the hunting lodges or bosses offices with the stuffed animals)
We have already managed to make our toys look realistic. And we do our best to improve those skills. And now it's time to contact with the interior designers, nature and wild animals activists.
Anyone can run out of patience ... and one day there will be a limit to what our nature can stand. I am a small human in this huge world. I can't change much. But at least something... Do you know what I'm dreaming about?) About a moment when someone decides to buy my toy instead of the stuffed animal he had planned to use in his interior. The first sale like that shall make me the happiest human in the world)

Hello, let me introduce myself. My name is Irina Soboleva and I create soft collectible toys.
I have enjoyed crafts since I was a child. I always liked drawing, sculpting, needle felting and knitting, in fact everything that I could make with my own hands.
I have been making realistic toys since 2019, before this I was sewing Tilda dolls and needle felted sculptures. In my early years I was copying pictures and binding them into colouring books. I even sold them at the school fairs in my year 5 😄
However, realistic toys were the ones to captivate and give me immense pleasure to create because they are not just soft toys but have their own character and expression and every one of them will be unique.
I am very happy that I found my vocation, it’s a part of me and I love it.
So, lets get acquainted, my name is Irina Soboleva and I make realistic toys.
In the carousel above you will find the pattern of a cute panda and pictures of my work. The tutorial with instructions on how to make this panda will be published in the next post. This is my gift for all the subscribers of

The Ode to the women's hands. That is what we are going to talk about today. To the hands like those you can see in the picture above... real ones. To those hands which comfort the sick child, lying close to you when your eyes and your brain are still sleeping)) To those which wash the sink while cleaning teeth, to those which wash, make food, hug, take roundworms out of the dogs and help with algebra and geometry to elder children. To those hands which paint the country cottage, mow the lawn, make barbecue and cut off the fern. To those hands which create a miracle at night and sew toys, make crochet blankets or create dolls...
You know... I respect and highly estimate my hands. I have thousands of disadvantages. Sometimes I talk nonsense, my brain is way out in the left field, but my hands!.. They gently persist correcting all my mistakes and gain "an indulgence" for my mistakes. And they don't even demand any manicure! My hands are the most self giving things in the world!)))
And that is why the expression "handmade" worth a lot to me personally! I appreciate any handmade! is not just a tag to me, it represents women's hands, those like mine... those on the other side of the world creating miracles deep at night....
So I send my best regards from my hands to your hands!
