Preparation camp for the Youth Olympic Games!

Our U17 national selection spent last weekend in Heidelberg, featuring some intense scrimmage games against a few guys from the Wolfpack 💪

World Rugby hat die Schiedsrichteransetzungen für die WXV Global Series sowie die WXV Global Series Challenger 2026 bekannt gegeben.

Rugby Deutschland-Schiedsrichterin Maria Latos wurde von World Rugby für zwei hochkarätige Länderspiele im September und Oktober als Assistant Referee nominiert.

World Rugby has announced the referee appointments for the WXV Global Series and the WXV Global Series Challenger 2026.

Rugby Deutschland referee Maria Latos has been appointed by World Rugby as an Assistant Referee for two high-profile international matches in September and October.

Drei Tage High Performance, Rugby und Austausch ☺️

Im Rahmen der All Blacks Clinic konnten junge Spieler im Alter von 14-18 Jahren aus ganz Deutschland drei intensive Tage voller Training und neuer Impulse erleben. Neben Rugby-Skills erhielten sie Einblicke in Krafttraining, Recovery und Performance – mit deutschen Nationalspieler:innen, Nationaltrainern und ehemaligen All Blacks Spielern.

Wertvolle Erfahrungen, neue Perspektiven und jede Menge gemeinsames Rugby.

Als Dachverband bringen wir die Rugby-Community zusammen, schaffen Begegnungen und eröffnen jungen Spielern neue Perspektiven 💪

Three days of high performance, rugby and connection ☺️

As part of the All Blacks Clinic, young players aged 14–18 from across Germany experienced three intensive days of training, learning and new perspectives. Alongside rugby skills, they gained insights into strength & conditioning, recovery and performance – together with German national team players, national coaches and former All Blacks.

Valuable experiences, new perspectives and plenty of rugby together.

As the national governing body, we bring the rugby community together, create connections and open up new perspectives for young players💪

Von Coaches aus Neuseeland und Rugby Deutschland lernen, Geschichten ehemaliger All Blacks hören, unsere Nationalspieler mit Fragen löchern und gemeinsam mit Spielern aus ganz Deutschland Rugby leben 🖤

Neue Skills. Neue Perspektiven. Neue Freundschaften.

The All Blacks Clinic hosted by Rugby Deutschland from August 3–6 was packed with intense training sessions, valuable tips and some truly special rugby moments.

Learning from coaches from New Zealand and Rugby Deutschland, hearing stories from former All Blacks, asking our national team players all the questions we could think of, and simply living rugby together with players from all across Germany 🖤

New skills. New perspectives. New friendships.

Premiere für Rugby Deutschland!

Zum ersten Mal überhaupt hat sich unsere U17 Rugby 7er-Nationalmannschaft für die Youth Olympic Games qualifiziert und wird als Teil von Team Deutschland in Dakar an den Start gehen. Ein historischer Meilenstein für das deutsche Rugby 7er-Programm – wir können es kaum erwarten! 😍

Die finale Nominierung der Athleten für Team Deutschland erfolgt durch den Deutschen Olympischen Sportbund (DOSB) im September 2026.

A historic first for German Rugby!

For the first time ever, our U17 Men’s Rugby Sevens team has qualified for the Youth Olympic Games and will compete in Dakar as part of Team Deutschland. A major milestone for German Rugby Sevens – we can’t wait to see the team on the Olympic stage! 😍

The final selection of the athletes representing Team Deutschland will be made by the German Olympic Sports Confederation (DOSB) in September 2026.
