TAKE A HIKE TUESDAY: We are taking a different approach this week to share this temporary trail closure from our partner Indiana Dunes National Park . Though the majority of the Bailly/Chellberg/Little Calumet River/Mnoke Prairie Trail system is open, a one mile segment is temporarily closed until August 14 for boardwalk replacement! TEMPORARY CLOSURE: Under the authority of 36 CFR 1.5, the Superintendent has closed a portion of the Little Calumet River Trail for the replacement of an existing boardwalk. This closure is necessary for the maintenance of public health and safety.
The closure will remain in effect from August 7, 2022 through August 14, 2022, or until further notice. See attached map for closure area.

Hundreds of Whitefish Bay residents sign petition for alternative proposal to reopen Fox Bay theater Officials are considering awarding developer New Land Enterprises with $773,000 to renovate parts of the building not including the Fox Bay theater.

We are open from noon - 4 pm, with some incredible photos and stories about the nearly 100 year history of the Community Center. We hope you are able to check out the exhibit. The museum is free, donations accepted
