Start Cup Dalmatia 2026 has officially begun! 🇭🇷⛵️

Today marks the first day of our unforgettable sailing journey along the Croatian coast. Teams have arrived, completed registration and yacht check-in, and are now getting ready for an incredible week ahead aboard our Salona 46 and Elan E6 yachts + Fan Catamaran at Start Cup Dalmatia.

The day is all about training, team building, and getting to know fellow crews before the racing officially begins. New friendships, shared excitement, and the true Start Cup spirit are already filling the marinas of Dalmatia.

And tonight? We celebrate the opening of the regatta together! 🌅🍹

Our opening ceremony will bring all participants together for a relaxed evening featuring a pool party, great music, delicious dinner, and the perfect chance to connect before we set sail across some of the most beautiful islands in Croatia.

Less than three weeks to the start. The clock is ticking.

We’re running it in English for the very first time. We’re doing this to practise the language, stretch our minds and push the boundaries of what Start Cup regattas can be. We get requests from all over the world - and together we’re taking our first step onto the international stage.

One regatta, sailors from different countries, each with their own experience, style and energy. That’s exciting.

So here’s the call to action for all of us: dust off the dictionaries, download a language app, pack your sailing gear - and let’s go.

New experiences, wider horizons, a sharper mind and a fresh perspective are waiting.

And we’re keeping everything that makes us come back year after year: the racing, the passages, the crew, the trophies 😊 and our warm atmosphere. A week that will leave you wanting another - and another.

Everyone talks about the racing ⛵️

But the day doesn’t end when the boats come in. It spills onto shore, flows into the evening, stretches into the night - longer than it has any right to be, like days used to feel when you were a kid. We sail into the marina, the whole crew comes together, we talk about the racing and everything else, we laugh, we argue sometimes, and we stay up way too late talking by the water.

That’s what a regatta actually is. Not just the starts and the finish line.

This spring and summer - three regattas in Croatia. Start Cup Dalmatia, Kornati Sport and Kornati Classic. Different marinas, different routes - same people, same atmosphere.
