Safety is something your nervous system learns slowly over time, through experience, structure and repetition.
By taking one extra breath before we speak.
By staying present when we want to numb or run.
Through our daily habits and the boundaries we hold. Through the way we move in excitement and in grief.
Slowly, over time you can teach your body safety.
And then you don’t have to decide to be safe at all, your body will feel it.

Happy 1 year Anniversary ♥️
I don’t know how it’s already been a year, and yet somehow we’ve managed to live 5 lives in that time. In our first year of marriage we’ve moved to a new country with 2 little ones, I went back to work full time, you’ve been away more than you’ve been home, and all of the ups and downs of life in-between… and yet there is no one else I would rather do any of it with
Life might be hard, but loving you has always been easy
Saying yes was the easiest decision I’ve ever made in my life and I will say yes every day forever
I love you .oates

In the whirlwind of motherhood, especially with 2 under 2, it’s easy to let self-care slip away. I’ve been there—struggling to find even a moment for myself, while postpartum depression weighed heavily on my heart. But I learned that the small habits we nurture each day can make all the difference. 🌿
Our habits shape how we see the world, and in the postpartum period, they are more important than ever. When we care for ourselves, even in the smallest ways, we set the tone for our entire day. But I know firsthand how tough it can be to stay consistent when you’re exhausted, overwhelmed, and just trying to make it through. 💪🏾
But here’s the truth: *The way we do one thing is the way we do everything.* If we let self-care slide, our mood suffers, and when our mood suffers, so does our entire experience of motherhood. That’s why I created my **Daily Postpartum Self-Care Checklist**—a simple, easy-to-follow guide to help you build those life-changing habits, one step at a time. For only 7€, you can start to see real shifts in how you feel each day. 🌸
This isn’t just about checking off boxes; it’s about reclaiming your peace, your joy, and your sense of self in the midst of motherhood. I’ve been where you are, and I know how small, intentional habits can pull you out of the darkest days. This checklist is more than just a tool—it’s a lifeline, and it’s helped me transform my own postpartum journey.
You deserve to feel good, mama. Let me help you! Comment “checklist” and I’ll send the link straight to your inbox. 💖
