How to fix a snag in knitwear: don’t cut the thread or tie knots. Using the blunt end of a needle, gently pull the surrounding loops to even them out. You may need to repeat this several times in both directions until the snagged yarn is back in place. Slow, careful, and your knit is as good as new.

Pilling is not a sign of poor quality. All cashmere and wool knits can develop pilling over time through everyday rubbing and wear. It doesn’t mean your piece needs replacing.
