Hello Nuremberg Runners, I present to you our new female Captain🫡Captain Christiane.

She will be joining our serving captains to organize and conduct NR activities!

About a year ago, I personally invited her to NR community run after noticing her commitment to running but mostly running alone! I am proud of her achievements and transformations physically and health wise and also proud to have her as a captain

“What is a captain without a group? - nothing 🙈

I was so proud being invited to this running group in January 2022… to be honest with you I struggled in the beginning with fears like not being capable of running as fast as the people in the group… but and this is the truth… these beautiful wild souls that built this group kept encouraging me to show up… and of course I grew in this group… of course I can run faster nowadays but this is just something that comes from practicing with all these inspiring people… a huge ‚thank you‘ goes out to - for the invitation and for encouraging me to sometimes leave my comfort zone 😅… another great ‚thank you’ goes to my homie I’ve found a very good friend in you… 🫶🏻

You want to have a good time, you want to get to know some crazy people, you like to run (no matter how fast or slow), you want to improve your running skills? Come and join us!!! (Highly recommended 🤗)

Sunday March 20, Nuremberg Runners joint the NTC Heat underground race in Dutzendteich Nuremberg. Started at 10:30 to test ourselves, record new PBs or to simply run in the sun. 🌞

Sunday Mar 6 Nuremberg Runners is celebrating its 6th birthday. 6 years of social runs, fun, run, good humans, newcomers, city runs, trail runs,... and the list is long !

We met at Wöhrder Wiese for this special social run.
Today again, two trains 🚂 9AM for those who want to run longer and 🚂 10AM for the normal shakeout 5K run.
☀☀☀ Sun was shining this morning, no excuse to stay in bed, maybe the cold, haha 🥶

Sunday Feb 20 Nuremberg Runners gathered one more at Wöhrder Wiese for a social run.
Today, we met twice, once at 9AM for 10K for those preparing FinishlineLauf and the motivated ones and then again at 10AM for a normal shakeout 5K run.
Even though the wind blew in our faces, we were smiling as you can see on the photos 🤩

Sunday Feb 6 Nuremberg Runners and Run4Green went trail running in Tiergarten. This is our 4th forest run since we had this idea last year with NR Community.

Today, we met shortly before 10am for warm-up and we took off at 10 for 7km in the Tiergarten forest, trying out a new route and that was A LOT OF FUN ! 🤩
Some people say they were so happy, they hold the flag upside down 😆...

Big thanks to the 11 brave ones that showed up today ✌️, we kept the group small on purpose, congrats 👏👏👏.

Sunday Nov 21 is trail run day #4

We will meet at the entrance of Tiergarten Nuernberg at 9:30.

Then we have a cool program
- Warm-up
- 7km of trail run with workouts on a new route
- Cool down
- Get together

Once again Nuremberg runners collaborates with OUTDOOR NATION Nuernberg and Run4Green to bring all 3 communities together and have a good and healthy time staying active.
