Day 1 of EUROS wrapped with outstanding performances from all Ramstein athletes today!!
Our distance runners would show off their talents today as Ramstein boys 4x8 would go to break the dodea record with a time of 8:01.47 after it was held by stuttgart for the last ten years. Along with two stunning performances from Carol Swinson in the 800 & 1600 placing 3rd in both. Adden Lowe would also have two outstanding performances after just breaking the record in the 4x8 he would then place first in the 3200m. Congrats to our distance runners who demonstrated great strength and tenacity.

It does not stop there as our field events would have their moments to shine! Lauren Meusel would place first in girls shot put throwing 31ft 6in. The DODEA record holder Javier Harrington would get first in boys discus for the third year in a row, throwing 150ft 1in. Last but not least sophomore Danica Johnson would go and tie for first in the high jump event with a height of 5ft 1in. Congrats to all our field athletes that participated today!
