Merry Christmas! A few weeks ago we had our first Monarchs family holiday party to celebrate the year and have some fun. It has been great to see the friendships formed and memories made this inaugural year for the Monarchs. We take as much pride in that as our on field success. May you all have a festive and safe holiday season with your own family and friends. See you in 2026!

Congrats to our very own Kyle Griebenow for his acceptance into the Regensberg Baseball Academy (). It’s an incredible program in Germany covering both academics and daily baseball. Of course we will continue to see Kyle wearing Monarch blue in tournaments through the years. Best of luck, Kyle!

Our U18 squad played tough in the BBF Summer Cup men’s tournament last weekend, losing to eventual champs Dublin by one run in the semifinal. The guys played through twisted ankles, jammed shoulders, sore arms and other adversity to represent the club proudly. And on the way the team officially won the Croydon London tournament with their win over Scotland!

As we do at every tournament, everyone learned a lot and acted with class. Thank you BBF for putting on a great tournament!

Our U12 Monarchs competed in Cervignano Italy this week and finished 3-3 over a very fun weekend facing excellent competition. We welcomed new players to the Monarchs family and everyone new and old improved in some way over the weekend. We are very proud of our young players. The gelato was also delicious!

Despite some heavy rains the fields were beautiful and the tournament was very well run. Thanks for hosting us

Congratulations to the Monarchs U12 players who were selected for the Great Britain U12 final tournament roster. We have seen first hand the hard work these young players have invested in the game and we wish all the GB players, coaches and staff the best of luck in Hungary next month.

Our U15 and U12 teams had a fantastic weekend in Wiesbaden Germany at the Outlaws Showdown. Thank you, for running a great tournament as always. We also want to give a special shout to our U15 squad who brought home the first ever tournament win for the Monarchs. Well done to all the athletes, coaching staff and parents for their support.

After four+ months of winter training, the London Monarchs played our first tournament a few weeks ago in Barcelona at the annual Catalunya Baseball Week. This is a massive tournament with 11 teams at the U18 level and 16 each at the U15 & U12 levels across ten different diamonds.

We are incredibly proud of our players. They played hard, respected their coaches and opponents, and improved every game. We saw a ton of smiles both during and after games from our kids.

We're happy to say we achieved our goals of playing competitively whilst ensuring a positive environment for our players. Mistakes became teaching moments whilst the hard fought successes, so often difficult to find in this sport, were celebrated. Across all ages we went 6-6-1, a highly respectable result for the first tournament of the year with such a strong field. What you won’t see in the results page are the stories and moments across the weekend. Our U18s completed a thrilling walk off in extra innings past midnight to then come back and win again at 8:30 the next day (and finish 3rd / 11 on record). Our U15s played incredible defence with some highlight reel plays and only two errors over the entire weekend which is quite special. And finally our very young U12 team climbed back from 5 runs down in their final game to finish in a thrilling tie (befitting of a Premier League game) upon hitting a time limit.

Now we look forward to our April tournaments in Breda NL and Prague CZ!
