Wow, just realized it’s been 20 years since GT Leo Gaje arranged my first meeting with Manong Eric from Eskrima De Campo JDCIO. That encounter was truly inspirational and has had a lasting impact on me. Thank you both for the wisdom and guidance!

Today is the birthday of Alessandro Crizman from Italy. He started his Pekiti Tirsia Kali journey 25 years ago when he travelled from Italy to Stockholm, Sweden to attend a training camp that I conducted there. He had previous experience in Filipino martial arts and was also quite experienced in Japanese swordsmanship. His experience of hard training, technical sophistication and fighting spirit during the Swedish camp was for him the beginning of a new chapter in martial arts. It was the beginning of 25 years of training together.
25 years later, Alessandro has never stopped practising. He and his students are frequent training guests at the Kampfkunstzentrum in . Alessandro attended countless seminars and travelled to the Philippines several times. He trained with Grand Tuhon Leo T. Gaje and other Manongs from the Philippines. He was offered a title in Pekiti Tirsia, which he declined. There are probably many more Tuhons than there are people who have declined the rank.
Alessandro is a skilled, experienced and knowledgeable martial artist. Above all he is a good and honest character and an always reliable dear friend!

Extrem erfolgreicher Start der neuen Armadong Kali Ausbildungslehrgänge
Letztes Wochenende startete in Reutlingen die diesjährige Armadong Kali Basics Lehrgangsreihe. Diese Lehrgänge dienen dazu Traineranwärter gezielt und praxisbezogen in den Techniken und Lehrmethoden der Armadong Kali Selbstverteidigung auszubilden.
