BW-United Triumph at European Cricket Series Women 2025 in Krefeld.

BW-United were invited to participate in the European Cricket Series Women 2025, held in Krefeld, a triangular tournament featuring Western Warriors and DJK München Ost.
The team, composed of players from Frankfurt and Baden-Württemberg, showcased exceptional all-round performances throughout the series. Competing in a round-robin format, of the six games, BW-United secured four dominant wins, suffered one loss and pulled off a thrilling last-ball victory.
Highlights included a hat-trick by Karina, three wicketkeepers (Jothi, Karthika, and Anjuli) contributing behind the stumps and an MVP-worthy all-round display by Shraddha.

Our very own Karthika Vijayaraghavan from Sportvereinigung Feuerbach 1883 e.v. proudly represented BW-United. In her three batting innings, she delivered valuable contributions with scores of 23 (22), 19 (19) and a match-winning 40 (28) in the final game against DJK München Ost. As a wicketkeeper in two matches, she took one catch and played a crucial role in two runouts. Additionally, in four matches as a fielder took three sharp catches.

Congratulations to Karthika for her outstanding performance and to BW-United for being crowned champions of the ECS-W Krefeld 2025!

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who made the tournament a success and to the European Cricket Network for their efforts in promoting women’s cricket in Germany.
