Berlin–Ostsee in the books 🙌

245 km, 2 days, countless smiles. We rode from Berlin to the Baltic Sea, explored old ruins, enjoyed some proper Gucci gravel, shared bikepacking tips, made three essential cake stops 🍰, slept at a campsite, and cooled off in three lakes plus the sea.

A weekend of riding together, finding your own pace, and making new memories on two wheels.

Finally! Tomorrow the 2026 season officially kicks off, and we can’t wait to head EAST with you! 🙌

As in previous years: 4 directions (East, South, West and North), 2 groups (Fast Pace and Party), 12 Ride Leaders and 5 months of weekly Tuesday rides together.

Once again this year, there will be an overall ranking. Your 10 best results will be counted. For every additional participation beyond 10 races, you will receive an extra 50 points ✴️

We hope you’re ready for the season opening—because we and our rider crew definitely are!

Last Sunday was our . Grey skies, cold air, not even close to “ideal” conditions — but none of it mattered.

If you don’t know: CRIT isn’t just a race. It’s a criterium — a fast, technical Fixed gear bike race on a short Tempelhof circuit where everything comes down to seconds, positioning, and sharp decisions. Constant accelerations, tight corners, no room for mistakes.

But 8bar Crit is more than racing. It’s community. It’s energy. It’s riders coming from all across Europe to share one day — racers, friends, supporters — all on the same wavelength.
