Aarhus International Sailing Center
Aarhus International Sailing Center is located at Aarhus Yachting Marina in the middle of the new Aarhus Docklands (Aarhus Ø) district, and features direct access to the Bay of Aarhus , one of the best yacht racing venues in the world. The Aarhus International Sailing Center is owned and run by the Aarhus International Sailing Center Foundation and led by a board appointed by the Danish Sailing Association, Sailing Aarhus, the Aarhus Sports Confederation, Team Denmark and supported by the City of Aarhus.
The Aarhus International Sailing Center is designed by architects Entasis a/s and funded by donations from the AP Møller Foundation, the Nordea Fund, the Salling Foundation, Lokale & Anlægsfonden and the City of Aarhus.
The Aarhus International Sailing Center was inaugurated the 23rd May 2018 by His Royal Highness Crown Prince Frederik, seen here above in the middle flanked by Chairman of the Board Hans Skou (left) and general manager Thomas Capitani (left).
