Colour plays a crucial role in diamond selection; take a moment to notice it.

The diamond positioned above is graded as I colour, while the one below is classified as D colour. You’ll find that the cost of the D color diamond is nearly twice that of the I color— but is that additional expense justified?

In my opinion, it isn’t necessary. I generally advise my clients to opt for diamonds in the G or H colour range to maximise their budget's value.

Featuring a large, old-cut oval diamond, this piece is adorned with an extraordinary array of smaller diamonds that enhance its beauty.

The main diamond, dating to the 1920s or 1930s, has minor imperfections in its cut that add to its unique charm and allure.

This is truly one of a kind. 💎

Finding a truly beautiful emerald is rarely straightforward.

Colour, transparency, clarity enhancement and origin can make an enormous difference — both to the beauty of the stone and to its value.

When I search for an emerald for a client, I may look across different dealers and different countries before finding the one I am willing to recommend.

And sometimes, during that search, you find a stone you simply cannot leave behind.

This Colombian emerald was one of those.

It became a birthday present from my mother to me — which makes it even more special.

Now comes the next question: how should I set it?

I already have a few ideas… but I haven’t decided yet.

Crafting a personalised ring.

I envisioned a ring designed as a snake, featuring a yellow diamond shaped like a drop for its head.

After finding the perfect diamond in the right size and hue, I sketched the ring, then created a 3D model. This is the finished product, and I am completely enamoured with it.🐍
