How much maintenance is OK for you?
present their award winning bike that will require sunglasses for extended viewing. There's a very nice amount of machining and attention to detail and this bike will no doubt perform as good as it looks. Make sure you check their page for more process and development pics.

Featuring .eu Smart.Shift and the patent-pending CDT belt tensioner, more on that soon, the bike can also be ridden with a 240 mm dropper post. Paired with the .eu 12-speed gearbox and .bicycle belt drive, it makes for a seriously low maintenance enduro bike. More time on the trails, less time in the workshop. This setup features an Flash 38 with 190 mm travel and a Fox X2 shock with 180 mm rear travel. During development, I also made sure there was enough space in the frame for large water bottles.
The gearbox protection doesn’t just protect the .eu gearbox it also serves as the cover for the “glovebox.” Once removed, it provides easy access to storage inside the downtube for the Pinion Smart.Shift battery, spare parts, tools, or even a mini pump. 🤛

How do you keep your head above water these days?
present something special for the niche subculture that separates the people from the people. I love the aquatic themes and those lugs are definitely next level.

🤜 Details on Kat’s new tracklocross frame:
Kat had a vision for this bike from the start. Thinking back to the things on her checklist, I’m very happy with my ex*****on of her vision.
The tentacles on the fork were done by me but the seat tube graphic was supplied by Kat. The blue and white theme was a no brainer, and we threw that keirin sparkle in the clear coat ✨
With a heavy emphasis on aesthetics, even down to all the fish carvings, the bike was still designed with proper geometry and handling in mind. To get the angles needed I was able to use a set of sloping top tube lugs from and had to forgo a lugged bottom bracket for a fillet brazed one. Bottom bracket height matters, y’all!
Kat’s current tracklocross bike is brakeless, but a rear brake might come into play later in this bike’s life. I fabricated some minimal brake mounts that use the removal brake studs for the frames. This little trick (along with a flush internal tt cable routing) was a fun way to keep it looking clean. 🤛

You can still have a wheeley good time despite the changes going on around us.
remind us that all wheel sizes have their place. Love their head tube badge and of course the twin top tubes take this well into next level territory.

Do you have racks on any of your bikes?
is all about classy, well crafted cycles where traditional lugs and racks go hand in hand. This beautiful bike feature tones from dark to light and no doubt will be ridden all day, dawn til dusk.

🤜 Every custom build comes with its own technical challenges, and this one was no exception.
One of them was bringing a 50-year-old set of Mafac brakes back to life, including a new black anodized finish. The René Herse replacement hardware kit proved invaluable in making that restoration possible.
Another challenge was designing and building a set of racks that fit the Berthoud GB22 handlebar bag and the GB1488 panniers as cleanly as possible. Although the GB1488 bags are normally used as rear panniers, we particularly like them on the front for a minimalist, ultralight bikepacking setup.
Sometimes, the smallest details are the ones that matter most.
Swipe all the way to the last photo… there’s a little detail hidden beneath the bottom bracket that probably won’t be noticed by many. 🤛
