Xande is a multiple-time IBJJF World Champion and one of the most respected coaches in BJJ — known for a suffocating pressure game and an approach to fundamentals that translates to every level.
At Hive we make it a point to bring world-class instructors to Copenhagen, and here is a rare chance to learn from one of the best to ever do it.
Unfortunately, open mat is canceled today - the door lock is broken and can't be repaired and there's no access. Replacement is not available in time.
Should hopefully be resolved by Jan 2nd.
Very sorry for the inconvenience, hopefully you'll find another way today to get the post Christmas sluggishness out.

I’m organizing a 6-hour Jiu-Jitsu rolling session — the first trial for a much bigger project:
an ultra-endurance BJJ event I’m calling
“Andy’s Endless Roll”
The goal is simple: I’ll be rolling non-stop for 6 hours, taking only short breaks every few rounds for water and bathroom.
I need your help to keep the marathon going — think of it like an ultramarathon on the mats, testing endurance, pacing, and mental toughness.
🕒 Format:
Continuous 8–10minute rounds or longer
Rotate partners every round
Join anytime — stay as long as you want!
(But I’ll be rolling the whole time 😅)
🍕 After-Roll Party:
When the marathon ends, we’ll celebrate with pizza, beer, and good vibes right at the gym! 🍻
🎯 Everyone’s welcome:
All levels, all gyms
Bring your gi/nogi, energy, and good spirit

Malik, our youngest active competitor, had a heavy bag on his way home from his latest competition at NAGA in Amsterdam! He ran through his own division with ease, and challenged himself further by going up in age group and weight. His accomplishments also made it to the local paper, Helsingør Dagblad. More than his results, we admire and support his effort - Malik faces a few hours of public transport several times a week, just to come and train with us. What a privilege it is to have him! 🐝 🥇
