In Alpina & Newton we produce skis which rigidity and structure change depending on the skiing conditions. Well, normally.
Our skis are all-purpose skis and therefore ideal for both slow and twisty skiing on slushed snow as well as high-speed skiing on hard packed snow. Snow isn’t just snow; it can change from hard, packed snow, known as crust, to wet, slippery snow, known as slush. Skiing on these two types of snow makes for two different experiences – and calls for adjustment along the way. You don’t need to adjust

New ski's! Testing the new AN Föhn prototype. Beautiful weather and snow here in Hintertux! Small steps forward to what we want! 😎⛷️🏔️❄️☀️

Time for our last day in
Two days of testing and skiing have been awesome and just as we intended!
We have met alot of the locals from my own time here and they have given great advice to how we can make the ski better.
For now, we drink a coffee then we go to the mountain one last time :)

Snow is falling and the slopes are perfect! Testet the carbon ski today, had to try at least! Was not the best build but we keep going forward! So far all the skiis are holding together and works, we will go home tomorrow after skiing with alot of information to work with and new ideas :)

Second day, 4 pairs on the mountain this time! We have gotten alot of feedback from the locals and our skiing from yesterday! We know what we need to change and are looking for more!

The skiis are working! Still alot to do but we got alot of information about the skiis and what to work further with! Now it's beer time and then home to evaluate and look for tomorrow!
There we also bring out the one ski we tried to make with carbon! Gonna be fun!

Lunch break status!
Skis are performing great and we are testing further to see what we need to do to make them even better! Video will be coming after lunch break of the skiing itself :)

First chocolate! We have so far been down 5 slopes with no issues and good edges! Now time for testing the turn radius and the difference between a ski with polymer and without! More to come!
