FCI Agility European Open 2023 Denmark

European Open 2023 is over. New champions have been chosen and winners have been celebrated. It has been a pleasure to see how agility develop, and watch how handlers from all over the world try to handle the challenges that different judges throw at them. At EO2023 we have experienced agility at the very highest level. Thank you for that.

A special thanks to the EO2023 judges (Stefanie, Kine, Esa, Regin and Morten), and a special thank you to the FCI delegate (Rolli), who supervised the entire competition.

An agility competition as big as European Open cannot be conducted without a dedicated staff;
- Thank you to the ring managers (Martin, Stine, Eva, Allan and P***e). They all did a fantastic job running the competition.
- Thank you to the course builder team, who built all the 25 courses, which was used for both practice and competition.
- Thank you to the camping team, who did a fantastic job planning for and setting up the temporary campsite with almost 300 camping spots.
- Thank you to all voluntary helpers/staff, who worked their ass out to run the competition in all aspects, from toilet and garbage cleaning to running the entire competition.
- Thank you to the members of the organizing committee (Sanne, Sabine, Dorthe, Bonnik, Allan, Anders). Without your dedication and hard work, organizing and conducting European Open 2023 would not have been possible.

Finally, thanks to FCI/DKK, who trusted Kvistgaard Agility Club as organizer of EO2023. We hope that we have lived up to your expectations.

Next year European Open will be conducted in Great Britain. We are ready to support in any way, sharing our experiences from EO2023. We wish you good luck, and who knows – maybe we will meet you there.

To all competitors and spectators; Thank for coming, thank you for being here. Hope to meet you all again in the agility world😄

We are around 45 minutes ahead of schedule, and it has been decided that we keep pushing on, in order to run most of the individual finals before rain really starts.
SO; Expect coursewalking for Individual Final Small around 11:00 hrs, CET :-)

Please be aware that it has been decided by FCI to push forward the time schedule and continue with the next class as soon as the previous one finishes due to the weather (cleared with all team managers)
So when large team is done. We will continue with white dog for individual small final (~11:00) and then course walk small after that.
