Another day, Another Aluto from

We’ve been spending some time with the Factor Aluto, and honestly, it’s a fun one.

It’s a gravel bike, sure… but it rides way closer to a road bike than you’d expect. Quick, responsive, and just feels fast no matter how you ride it.

Tire clearance is up to 47 mm so you’ve got room to play depending on how rough you want to go, and you can fit 50.mm in the front if you dig grip. Aluto really shines when you keep things on the faster side of gravel….

The build we’re running here is with a SRAM Force XPLR and the Enve SES 4.5 wheels on the super summer rubber from (G-One RS) and it’s a seriously dialed setup straight out of the box.

We brought Factor into CCC again because we were looking for a brand which we think offers a super strong lineup across both Road and Gravel in a modern uncompromising way.

A very few brands succeed in bringing great bikes to the people on both categories the way that Factor does, and that’s exactly why Factor is a part of CCC 2026.

A tribute to the legendary Sascha White and

Sascha White, founder of The Vanilla Workshop in Portland, built his reputation on uncompromising craftsmanship and a deep belief that bikes should be more than just machines. What started with handbuilt steel frames quickly evolved into a cult following—his creations became known as some of the most sought-after bikes in the world, with years-long waitlists and a reputation for blending performance, precision, and pure artistry.

Speedvagen emerged as an extension of that philosophy, race-focused, vibrant, and just as obsessive in detail. Every frame carries that same DNA: purpose-built, beautifully executed, and made to be ridden hard.

This bike belongs to our founder, Ulle. Recently brought back to life, it’s a mix of past and present, keeping the soul of the original build while embracing modern performance. Together with our friends at Polymer Workshop, we equipped it with their brand new Eclipse 58:65 wheelset, combining aerodynamics and stability into one seamless package. The drivetrain blends old and new, proving that great components and great bikes deserve a second chapter.

Enve MOG in “Slipstream Pearl” 2026 refresh color. Build for Dirty Series CEO (Chief Event Officer,

MOG = Mother of Gravel. Recently refreshed with new colors for the current year, this modern classic still looks just as stunning as when it first launched in 2023. Why change a winning formula when there’s nothing to fix?

So, what makes the ENVE MOG that good?

“One bike to do everything”

ENVE’s core idea was: you shouldn’t need separate race + adventure gravel bikes.

• Fast enough for racing
• Stable and capable for rough terrain
• Comfortable for long days

That balance is hard to get right, and the MOG nails it better than most.

Instead of supporting both 650b and 700c, ENVE went all-in on 700c with big tyres (up to 50 mm):

• Better rolling efficiency + speed
• More stability and confidence off-road
• Simpler frame (no flip chips, cleaner geometry) 

This “pick one optimal setup” philosophy is a big reason it rides so well.

Smart integration (but not annoying)

• Internal cable routing (IN-Route system) → cleaner + more aero

• Downtube “Cargo Bay” storage
• Mounts for bottles, bags, fork cages 

Practical for racing and adventure without overdoing gimmicks.
