Practice and qualifying are done, the first heat is in the books, and we already have a champion!

After a strong season, Magnus Kastberg Jensen has secured the 2026 Special Saloon Car Championship. 🏆🔥

A fantastic achievement for Magnus and everyone around him. The title is well deserved, and there’s no better feeling than celebrating it under the Nightrace lights at Padborg Park!

Nightrace 2026 is underway! 🌙🏁

The weekend at Padborg Park is well underway, with both practice sessions and qualifying completed today.

The practice sessions showed strong pace from our two Super GT drivers, with both Martin Andersen and Simon Seiersen right at the front of the field. In qualifying, they followed up with great performances:

Both drivers therefore qualified for Super Pole, and what a session it was! 🔥

Simon Seiersen set the fastest lap of the session to take P1, while Martin Andersen secured a strong P3.

A fantastic starting point for tomorrow’s races.

Nightrace at Padborg Park is just around the corner, with important championship points on the line. We’re ready for another action-packed race weekend.

Friday’s schedule includes practice, qualifying and Superpole for Super GT, as well as practice, qualifying and Heat 1 for Special Saloon Car.

Selected Car Racing ready to go on the offensive at Nightrace! 🏁🌙

There are crucial championship points up for grabs this Saturday as Padborg Park hosts the traditional Nightrace.

In Super GT, Martin Andersen and Simon Seiersen are both fighting for strong results in the championship battle. Andersen arrives at Padborg Park as the reigning champion and has already won the season opener at the circuit – as well as Nightrace twice before.

”I’m going to Padborg to win. The combination of heavy braking zones and the option to take different lines through several corners creates plenty of overtaking opportunities, which suits my driving style really well,” says Martin Andersen.

Simon Seiersen currently sits third in the championship and is targeting another podium finish.

”My clear goal is to get on the podium at Padborg Park. I really enjoy driving here, and I know I have the pace to fight for the win,” says Simon Seiersen.

With Nightrace being the penultimate round of the Super GT championship, the battle for both the drivers’ and teams’ titles is heating up.

”Our drivers need to deliver at the same level they did at Grand Prix Denmark at Jyllandsringen. We need to be right at the front and score plenty of points to give ourselves a real chance of fighting for both the drivers’ title and the teams’ championship heading into the season finale in October,” says team principal Henrik Lundgaard.

Meanwhile, the Special Saloon championship will be decided at Padborg Park. Magnus Kastberg Jensen is just 13 points behind his teammate Christian Brunsborg, leaving everything to play for in the final round.

PODIUM FINISH AT THE NÜRBURGRING! 🏆

We’ve missed this feeling! After three intense hours of racing at the legendary Nürburgring, we could finally raise our arms and step onto the podium with a brilliant P3 in the Gold Cup. 🍾🥉

A strong and disciplined performance from our incredible trio, who once again delivered when it mattered most, continuing the hard-fought battle to maintain our strong position in the 2026 championship standings. 💪🏼🏁

Now we’re soaking up the incredible feeling of standing on the podium again and enjoying this well-earned result before heading back to Denmark. 🇩🇰

More than half of the race here at Nürburgring is in the books.

Simon Birch has completed his stint, while Malte Ebdrup is nearing the end of his. Soon, Frederik Schandorff will jump in the car and take us safely to the chequered flag. 🙏🏼🫡

We’ve maintained a strong pace, shown great potential, and as of 16:50, we’re sitting P10 overall and P3 in the Gold Cup.

The focus throughout both sessions has been on finding the right setup, with valuable work completed on track. As always, the time on track has been important for our drivers and the AF Corse crew, helping us build a clearer picture of the car and prepare for what lies ahead.

Now, our focus shifts to tomorrow, Sunday, when the real fight begins.

We have everything to fight for as we head into the penultimate round of the 2026 GT World Challenge Europe season. Currently sitting P3 in the Gold Cup, we know exactly what we’re fighting for! 🔥
