Opening Ceremony at the Women’s Match Racing World Championships! 🇩🇰 We went out for our breezy practice session this morning. Conditions are looking similar for racing tomorrow, time to carb load to ensure we have energy for a week of windy racing! 💪🏽🌊⛵️

We cannot wait to compete in the Women’s Match Racing World Championships this week from 3-7th July. We will have a morning practise session tomorrow from 10:00-13:00 to get us up to scratch with the boat (Blu26) in some fresh breeze. See you on the water ⛵️🌊

Womens Match Racing Europeans- on board for this event were Octavia Owen (Skipper), Abbie Sanders (Main Trim), Yasmin Sfaxi ( Jib Trim) and Jodie Martin ( Bow).

Day one the conditions were testing and a great opportunity to get sailing with the new crew. We completed the first round robin and started the second. Unfortunately, we came away with no wins but our sailing around the course was alot smoother. We went into the second round optimistic, yet although our sailing had come together for day two and racing being closer we didn’t manage to score any matches. This left us playing for 5/6th playoff for day 3.
Day 3 - Light winds delayed racing for a few hours, so we made the most our time to enjoy some pizza. The wind picked up in the afternoon and we were happy to come away having won our 5/6th playoff against Otter Racing placing 5th overall.
