Many may not be aware but another quite big moment actually happened during this year's tournament.
Pontus Andersson🇸🇪 has decided to end his professional career and retire, and Aalborg International was his very last competition before retirement 🥺
He is now set for a new exciting adventure, as he will be leaving for Hong Kong, to become a tenpin bowling coach for the Hong Kong, China bowling team🇭🇰
We were lucky to get the chance to sit down with him for a little chat, talking about being back in Aalborg, leaving Sweden, and his new exciting Hong Kong adventure👀
We wish him the best of luck and look forward to follow along on his new adventure as a fulltime coach!

That's a wrap for Aalborg International 2026!🎳
Thank you to each and every one of you who made your way to Aalborg to take part in this year's tournament 👏
We hope to see you all back here this August, when the alley will be hosting the Brunswick Euro Challenge for the very first time!
